Vodafone BB service?
I've been doing a little searching on the threads and not sure if things are still as they were months ago, does anyone know if BB service is available from Vodafone yet? It didn't appear so on their website but I've seen contradicting posts. If so, how much is the service and are there any additional services than what Qtel offers? I was quite irritated that it took forever to get BB service and found out Yahoo email and messenger service isn't available here!! Not sure what I have to do now, change my email now just to reap any benefits of this phone? I'm kind of frustrated, I might switch to an iphone if I can get somewhat of an even trade (for a Bold 9000) but can anyone that has an iPhone tell me if there's any kind of worldwide service or do you always have to be near a wifi connection? Also, for anyone who has the Bold....What do you mainly like about it?

As Mike said Vodafone have launched a pilot for 1000 customers, unfortunatly the closing date to register is over. The Blackberry service will be available for all in June. For more information check out Vodafone Qatars facebook page.

I remember back in January someone had told me this would be launched by Mid-March... now it's a pilot program so this is probably why Qtel decided to change their current BB plans to from 10Mb to "unlimited downloads"
