Well everyone probably knows what villageo is. A mall in qatar that opened a few years ago that represents a village.. With its blue sky and venice design and 63 helium ballons that are stuck that they cant seem to get down.
Ok now to the point. I am an avid villageo shopper and go there quite often. What i have realised that more than 80 percent of the people there dont go to buy stuff. You'l usually find a group of teenagers in superman shirts :P

Not that im against it or anything , but i mean what about the families and all ?

2 weeks back me nd my family was dining at TGI Friday's @ villagio. All of a sudden we can hear big noises near the play area and people are running every where.Actually it was a fight between the so called Superman t shirt nd skinny jeans teenager gangs. The sad part is since it is near the playareaeand dining area lotz of small children were playing and these poor helpless children stuck inbetween the gangsters and the worried mothers nd fathers trying to pull these scared little children from inbetween these teenagers. That was really scary.

A very flat-chested QL lady went to Villagio and entered one of those VIP stores and approached the saleslady in lingerie, "Do you have a size 28AAAA bra?"

The saleslady haughtily replied in the negative, so she left the store and proceeded to another one where she is rebuffed in much the same manner.

After a third try , she had become disgusted. Leaving Villagio, she drove to Carrefour. Marching up to the sales clerk, she unbuttoned and threw open her blouse, yelling, "Do you have anything for this?"

The lady looked closely at her and replied, "Have you tried Clearasil?"

Villagio mall is a shameless copy of the Venetian Casino/Mall in Macau, China. Since when did Qatar start copying China, LOL!

And in response to the orginal poster - yes, what about "families"? what is it with "families" in qatar? i don't get it. "Families"... "Bachelors" (why do they use this word in a negative context here?!!). Learn to look at people as people first, and show some respect.

malls are places to hang out for most people, in most parts of the world. especially for teens (who usually can't get into pubs and clubs). especially asia (where everyone hangs out in massive malls). or, in case of Macau, filled to the rafters with h00kers :D

I'm confused..

Are you worried about the non-shoppers or the guys in Superman T-Shirts or the families ?
