Can anyone tell me exactly where in the Souk can you find computer software for sale. I went there earlier and asked around but no one could point me in the right direction.

From which Souq?
If you meant Souq Waqif, then it is approximately half to 1 km to the west (Toward Ramada intersection).
Plug in the coordinate that I gave you into a gps or wikimapia, then you'll see the location.

Yes, I do mean the Sofitel Building. I went to the Souk and someone advised that I go there. How far is it from the Souk?

For computer games.. I suggest Villagio mall at Virgin they have the latest computer games...
Software like Nachu says these are not pocket friendly.. but you can go Jarir and PC one at Salwa road..

first of all, adode software’s are quite to tough to find here in retail shops as its expensive and very few customers.
anyway you could purchase them from adobe site as well.
there are many people downloading (widely available in the net with crack ;) )and using which is illegal. even you could try that if you just want to use for few days :D
