Single Man Visiting Mall
Hi,
I've been searching through the forum pages and although there is some discussions regarding 'family day' at the malls on Fridays I haven’t found a conclusive answer. I'm 27/male from UK and will be in Qatar shortly and have heard stories regarding this.
Can I visit the mall on my day off, being a Friday? There is mention this was to reduce the problem of male crowds within the mall. Is it therefore ok for a single mall who is actively shopping to do so??
Also, are there any rules for souqs???

i thing this problem might be on The Mall (One of the shopping centers), which, has a family day but i thing its on Thursday evening. but all other malls i don't have any problem getting in even i am not a Caucasian looking or any thing like that, only go for what you want and don't make any troubles.

I'm from the UK (but look arab thanks to my mothers side) and have never had a problem going to villagio on fridays.

Anytime you can enter a mall... there is no restriction for a western or rich Expat, they only resist laborers and poor people to enter malls who may not buy anything from there, which in my opinion is disgusting and a sort of discrimination...
