I just picked up Crisco by the stick at Q-Mart at the Mall yesterday. They also had Mazola shortening in tubs. I believe I've seen it before at FFC by the airport, but I can't guarantee it.
All bigger supermarkets carry vegetable shortening of different brands (it is not necessary to use vegetable shortening for cooking cakes, we cook delicious cakes using sunflower oil)
