Rental Agreement via Ebay
Hi Friends,
One apartment in Doha is available on rent on reasonable rental but only problem is owner wants to carryout Rental agreement via E-bay as she is in UK now.
I need to pay 3 months Rent in advance to E-bay. In return i will get the Keys of apartment and will get one week to confirm if i like the house or not.
If i like the house Ebay will provide me rental agreement and other documents.

Has anybody carried out this kind of agreement before? or any kind of precautions shall be taken? Will appreciate any advise on this.

it is a BogUs..... it is a FRAUD!!! We/ You should report it to the authorities....

I guess I know the source from where you found this apartment. I have seen that while searching one for me recently. Some ads on that website almost offer a palace at QR3000/- per month but need to contact the owner through email...:) I never bothered for those. I guess I would have got similar response if pursued.
Just forget it and look for something which you can see and can meet the concerned person before you pay.

That lady kept sending mails to me too. It is a clear sign of fraud. Like that 2 more guys hv contacted me saying they reside in the UK and ask for advance payment. Pls avoid. Anyone asking for money in advamce in any form to any a/c is fraud.
