I've had some very good experiences with the locals' generosity, Al Hamdullilah. From the LC drivers who gave us lifts too and fro to various places when we were still new here and had no car, to the young men who would at food courts not only give us their seats but even take the trouble to go get us an extra chair. And then you get the ladies who I have had the pleasure of visiting who are fabulous hosts, and even the kind old folks in the masjids who are so so adorable, the list goes on! Whilst I'm not naive to say they are ALL most courteous happily I've met many of them who are,Thank God!
and i found very rarely that they are careless in driving.. else they seems to be normal to me.. you kill me,, is this the suck up of the month award day you kill me.
Gosh , they are great people as far as I know they are educated, humble and most and foremost kind hearted, compare to some arab people as if they conquer the country acting like because their in the position... I rather to have 10 Qatary modir than have a one itlog...hahahhaha
Nope, they are some of the worst drivers in the world. The single highest cause of deaths in young people is by road accident- they are losing a generation to this.
Just outside my compound on Friday night (on a major intersection) they were flipping their cars onto 2 wheels and guess what, they had an accident. And also guess what, no one was arrested and nothing was done, it will happen again this weekend no doubt.

The Qataris I've met so far (mostly at Qatar Foundation) are the best people I know so far.
I used to think Japanese people are the most modest people in the whole world, but now I think differently. Qataris top them easily.
yaa they r respectable specially with women that impress very much

I do agree with this but why are they so discourteous when driving?
qatari's are gods.......
now Ok javvad?
I totally agree with Lincoln....
Your tayar will not puncher in Sealine...
we have Different type of them every where...
.......and another conclusion from urs trully a naive QLer....
a person in LC will not do like this...
owners of BM's are more helpful and generous then the one in LC's..
and Lincoln is right..
No fire works here
This is one of the noble Arab attitudes. But: they expect you to do the same when they have a problem.
Good for you.. Stay here don't leave
They are always helpfull.
Who said they are all not respectful, they are very helpful, everyone knows, if not you won't be writing and I won't be reading it here.
