Some of the "larger" size people I know have been completely healthy. I currently know a 15 year old "obese" boy who is about a week away from being a black belt in karate. Just being small does NOT make you healthy. You are ignorant and rude and that makes you much uglier than any extra weight ever would.

Pop down to Carrefour and purchase their range of designer 50 gallon Bin Bags! They cover a multitude of sins and are easy to slip on over those unnatractive ill fitting garments where your tummies and bottoms hang out! Zippydoo! If u can do the zip up that is! janei62, extreme overweight ruins your health thus you hurt also your family and friends when you're sick all the time and die maybe 20 years earlier...

I'm better off with size 12 if this is the attitude of size 8 ppl have.very sorry girls sizes doesn't make anybody's personality it is the way you talk and behave.

Amoun, thanks for offending ppl, very nice of you. First of all, I don't think I'm skinny. Second, obese ppl are sick, they have many health problems (joints, heart, blood pressure etc.) so do not tell me anybody likes it to be sick. Some ppl are obese because of a disease and I'm honestly sorry for that and hope one day they'll find a cure for that. But the rest of them is plain lazy and have no self control at all - I can't feel sorry for those.

So all the shops given, many won't help him. Also, please stop being so judgemental over his size. He could feel bad about his weight without some sh!ts making him feel worse.

I would get tailor made stuff for the time being. Best option. Sizing is odd over here from shop to shop.

Good luck with finding clothes that fit you.

I guess it just goes to show you that being skinny doesnt give you a personality.

BTW Beesh, I called them idiot shits because this is a thread about finding plus size clothing. Goes to show you that stigma fits more than one type.

Andeee, a completely obese person has many many many health issues (hospitals and treatments paid from the taxes of all of us). And pls do not tell me anybody feels well weighing 150 kg, not fitting in any normally available dress, being mocked by others, not being able to tie their own shoes or walk the stairs to the first floor. I feel very sorry for the ones that are sick and that's why they're extremely overweight but I'm not buying the "big is beautiful" shit from those "overly self-confident" lazy persons who prefer to ACT happy instead of doing something about their problem, keeping offending the ones who tell them they actually have a problem and cause problems to others. I so much welcome the decision of many airlines who charge extremely overweight passengers a higher fee. I adore the idea that they forbid selling sweets at our school. I love it to see the nutritional data of each product on the front of the packaging.

Sorry but I think you are so rude saying that...what kind of language is that... lasy ass completely lacking any kind of self control... you are the lazy ass my dear cause you dont take the time to get to know people for who they are and you just generalise by what u think is the right size... your the sick one my dear !!! the post was about where to get plus sizes.. why do you have to go and make your stupid comments...

By beeseh• 2 May 2009 10:54

Amoud, size 48 means either sick (and I'm very sorry for that) or a lazy ass completely lacking any kind of self-control and self-criticism.

UkEng, having them tailor made is not the same. I don't even know the tailors here...

Miss Saigon, Nicowa is very nice, evening dresses and co. But what about a nice suit for work? I'm quite tall and wear 34/36, lethal combination here I guess. Btw, who wears size 48??? I've seen this size here pretty often... :^)

They have some plus size clothing, good quality and fair prices.

You have also, for more expensive shops: Marina Rinaldi - Villagio, Olsen Landmark and Gerry Weber City Center. Debenhams City Center has nice stuff, H&M, Evans, Splash, some items at Max City Center, BHS Landmark. But my favourite is still Punto Roma.
