nin, honestly just use a shipping forwarder and order from amazon.com or the likes (mainly amazon). You'll get much ,much better prices, in addition to the best selection of all the lastest stuff, instead of 2nd tier things that are twice as much as the lastest things on amazon.com

On a side note. I noticed that I'm CONSISTENTLY getting pings of around 100 (usually 102 exactly) with BF4 servers in Singapore (filter it). I used to get pings in the 90s from the UK, but that was short lived. If anyone wants server names, I can post it, but it's easier just to filter it.
Hey fellow enthusiasts! I'm planning to assemble a portable rig. I was wonderin if someone here knows where to buy high-end computer parts in Qatar? so dice finally released their patch which fixed the server crashes, I have plenty of servers in my favorites which has less than 145 ping, my friend does not seem to have any problem either..so if youre planning to buy this game, now would be a great time, hope to see you in the battlefield soon
@erasmus, pings consistent below 90 or just showing so on the server browser? This alone might get me to buy the game.. I have not had a proper multiplayer session in ages.
@pavancpk123, most of the parts available here are either outdated or extremely overpriced. Many of us buy everything online and get it shipped through Aramex.
This is crazy how ea/origin are releasing games absolutely full of bugs and unplayable for most people.
To add insult to injury, the severs to download the client are completely, utterly inadequate.
I really have to say, steam and activision are head over heals better in this regard. Seriously EA? Customers have the change their continent to a place much further away from their physical location to get fast download speeds? That's ridiculous. That alone makes me want to never again buy another one of their products.
@erasmus, thats the same problem my friend keeps complaining about, but i also seem to be having the 2nd problem u mentioned regarding the server refresh, I just click through all the games and it refreshes and join the empty ones..What my friend does is he joins the server without any players, I join his game and then just wait for players to fill up..
I just finished the download this morning. Found that if I connect via the US, the download rate was 3x as fast, but still around 250-300kb/sec which is ridiculoursly slow
However, I can't seem to connect to any servers. It keeps disconnecting me before the game loads. Also noticed that the refresh rate of origin's server details are really slow and even servers that are half full are full by the time you refresh then join.
Frustrating because after the beta I bought 2 gtx 780s for sli and now I can't even see how the game runs!!
my friend and many others are having problem connecting to the server, cant figure out whats up with that, i can join any server, But hes able to join servers with very less people, So if you are experiencing the same issue i suggest u do that, If anyone knows how to fix this, please lemme know..
Btw guys, i ran into bit of a trouble the day the game released..turns out u need to reinstall punkbuster to latest version and install the latest BETA driver..not the latest driver but the latest BETA 331.40,
@erasmus the game is insane btw, truly amazing..u can hide in fallen buildings, get inside containers and close them, take cover and peek for killing, counter knife if they approach u from front, the grass, trees and shrubs move when u pass through them, levolution and climate change is just fantastic...
How long did it take you to download bf4? did you find a better gateway? On fibre now I'm hitting 150kb/sec at 50% finished at this rate it'll take days to finish....
Just finished cleaning some of the res and I noticed a piece of foam fell from the pad an immediately went into the pump. Now I have this foam floating somewhere in the "miles" of loop"

I'm downloading BF4 has I type this. ea's servers much really be bogged down cause I'm getting 120kb/sec and the fibre speed test seems fine.
I finally got my 2 gtx 780 classifieds installed in my loop and added a 3rd radiator, but this one only in push, and not in push and pull like the other 2 bigger ones. I haven't seen the cards go over 27 deg running futuremark 11 with the room temp being 25 deg.

Have you considered going for a minimalist build? It's trending nowadays.
-Corsair AX1200i PSU (i think 850W should cover the power you need, but if you plan to overclock/custom water cooling or SLI/XFire, then stick with 1200W)

I'm not quite sure honestly. I haven't been there since forever, but last time I checked they had some of the latest parts for triple the price of what you could get online.
And yes, you can order from Amazon with almost any online-compatible credit card. The problem we usually face is shipping, while Amazon does provide door to door shipping it has a price.. and it isn't cheap. Although as I said earlier, even with the overpriced-ish shipping you're still saving some thousands of riyals.

well the rampage IV extreme with me had alot of problems :/ and heard about it alot also that it always comes faulty from the manufacturer anyways you can look up online and you will see i would suggest a 3930k instead of the 3770 because its better :) and you wouldnt go for a tri sli but just in case get it anyways :P or wait a while and when the new stuff comes out the old will drop there prices

@nelly I used a heat gun on the shrinks. first i got it all messed, after a few strands of wires and practice i got it done, just don't give up trying. we learn most from the mistakes. here's my some of my sleeved cables.
@nelly i had horrible experience with my sli setup because of my motherboard ..the pci slots were too close, My cards couldn't breathe, But i always had great experience with nvidia's multiple gpu cards..9800gx2(Gigabyte) and now 690(Evga), No headaches, No over clock, More breathing room for cpu cooler its just perfect for me..im pretty sure you wont run into any issues with sli coz 700 series have better cooling than 600 series..But dont just take my opinion wait for the others and please dont rush into buying anything until nvidia release the two new cards, im pretty sure nvidia will drop the price or make slight adjustments for rest of the cards.. to make these two fit in..
Lifesgr8: I just hope there isn't too much issue with 770 classy SLI. I still would prefer single GPU though. But we'll see where my budget will take me. :D
3stan: what did you use on the heat shrink? I tried using a hair blower and failed miserably. So I didn't bother getting connector removers as I know I'll just be disappointed with my work. T_T
I ended up buying sleeved cable extensions. But it really blew up the volume of cables behind the mobo tray.
@nelly now that is a smart move, 2 680's definitely overpowers a 690 and a 770 is a 680 on steroids that is overclocked and pushed harder to deliver more output..
Nah, I'm not really a fan of Cosmos 2. But I got my eye now on Corsair Carbide Air 540. Not sure if I'm really going to pursue it in the future. Drive bays are vertically positioned. Haven't decided if that's an issue with me or not.

That budget won't get too far. Probably just enough for casual games that don't require too much power.

Sharaf DG is open in qatar, They have almost everything in their showroom, At least thats how it is in uae, Their slogan is.. "we have everything, and if we don't have it we give it to you for free " now im not really sure about their slogan and they dont really have "EVERY"thing lol but yeah they do have almost everything latest...so if youre looking for monitors and keyboards, headsets, mouse..latest pc games etc..this is the spot. just look for benchmarks, Dont listen to people who say a particular gpu is enough, they dont take into account the fact that you will have to lower your graphics for smooth gameplay

so, two days ago i decided to go for gtx 780. but after reading forums and reviews from different sites, now im confused on what gpu upgrade would suite me. some say cfx 7970 will cost about the same price for gtx 780 and the preformance would likely be the same. some people say that gtx 770 is more than enough for the upcoming games.
btw i use my pc with two monitors, one for watching films on 1080p and the other on gaming on 1080p.
should i go for gtx 780? or cfx 79070 ghz edition? or just gtx 770? if u have some other ideas, im open for you suggestions :) even other cards
Believe it or not, Gta V will come to pc. It's a major cash-cow franchise, and Rockstar wouldn't have it any other way. Moreover, Nvidia also recently spilled the beans in an interview hinting the possibility of a pc version of Gta V sometime later on:

yeah i agree, You wont have to worry about overclocking and upgrades if you have a cheap console, Obviously pc kicks ass any day, But only if you can spent above 3000..otherwise stick to console and save up money for your dream rig.
definitely a 780, if you can buy one more down the road for SLI, 7990ghz if you are only planning to buy one card, the 7990ghz slightly better than 780, The difference is really small but no physx.
Now i did mention earlier regarding running physx on your cpu, But you can never get the exact experience, you will lose some of your frame rates since your cpu will be doing the calculations and 80% of the effects will be stripped out.
@flintknapper, Before i respond i would like to point out that im not a fanboy of either companies, Now regarding your question both are really good gpu manufacturers, But nvidia currently has the edge in gpu industry because of their physx technology and sli compatibility, there have been very few reports of Micro stuttering in nvidia cards but amd on the other hand does tend to have these issues in the beginning until they release a fix later on, Most game updates released these days are to fix issues for amd cards.. you can read it in the game update description..
Is Nvidia better? Not really. Amd used to be known for bad drivers before, and hence Nvidia became popular among enthusiasts ever since. Amd cards are on par with Nvidia ones, except that they lack physx which can be achieved on your cpu via a small tweak.
The pc version of gta 5 won't see the light of the day for at least another 6 months or so. It also depends on what you consider "good enough". If you're going play on 1080p or below, you should be fine with most settings cranked up( no AA). Anything above and you'll need cf/sli.

I read online somewhere that a 680 alone can hardly support the 120hz or 1440p (one of them) to play BF3 in Ultra like the temps will go crazy if you go with 2 then you will probably need 2-3 cards :) or a titan or a 790 or something
Dude!! If i were you GO to dubai or order online. SLI Set up will be the best for you because you can use 4 monitors to display your Desktop, it's best than 3D though :D
Lulu Hypermarket sells the Samsung 3d 120 Hz 23 inch Monitors for 1k each. 3 of those would be a good setup if you want 3d surround gaming. If 120 Hz or 3d doesn't matter ( I feel 3d is very gimmicky personally and very few games that actually do it well.) If you only want a triple monitor surround pick up 3 LG IPS 23inch monitors Monitors from Jumbo for 700 each.
I would also suggest picking up a Nixeus or Korean 27 inch 2560x1440p monitor from amazon or ebay as an alternative. Just remember to go for the free shipping offers. That will only cost you 1200 to 1500.

@lemeul i checked online the card will cost you around 1600 including shipping, and if you still think physx is important, both ps4 and xbox one are equipped with amd chipsets, So only very few games are going to support this technology in future. And please do not think the performance for both 780 and 7970 ghz are exactly the same, Please check for reviews and benchmark's online before you make up your mind, im pretty sure you will think the same, its very close :).
@lemuel if you cant push your budget any further i would suggest you to get a ps4, That is of course if your sole purpose is gaming, if not then i would suggest you get 7970ghz edition graphic card, Its performance is pretty much the same as gtx 780 for Half the price, only disadvantage would be no physx..but people have found a workaround for it by installing simple softwares which can run physx through your cpu.
yeah check here for the motherboard the power supply the case and the HDD the rest if you buy online will be cheaper you can ship through aramex then you won't have any problems ..

Hi guys! Just wanna ask something, I'm planning on buying a casing from newegg. Maybe cooler master haf 922. How much will be the shipping cost? Will it cost less if I will buy here in sofitel? In sofitel they have a big casing around 900 - 1100. But on newegg, the haf 922 cost around $120 only. Will it be around 900 riyals also because of the shipping? yeah i checked, its gonna make very little difference since my cpu cant handle that bandwidth, plus it seems going above 1600 will not increase gaming performance in real world but it will help increase performance for video editing and stuff..i guess il take your advice and upgrade my cooling for now and motherboard later..
@mastermas i had no idea you can go above 1600mhz with 980x, Btw are you running the rams on triple channel or dual channel ?, and is your system detecting 24gb of your ram or just 16gb.
Yeah i agree 3d is crap, you will play around with it for the first few days and then eventually forget about it, And i'd suggest you to go for a 120hz rather than a 1440p, Coz you wont require Vertical sync when you're using 120 hz so you will get a huge performance boost on your card for future games..
dude you will get a 30" monitor i think for around 2000+ qr here but no use get them online and when i was going to buy a while ago the people on overclock.net told me to buy either a 1440p monitor or a 1080p 120hz monitor
120hz gives a smoother experience (less of a jerky motion, everything is smooth) also 120hz brings 3D Capability if you buy the Nvidia Glasses.
1440p is a higher resolution, therefore you get a better picture. Depends whats more important to you.

and buy the motherboard and PSU also here there would be maybe a 100-200QR difference but its worth it since you will get the warranty here and the motherboard and PSU are pretty heavy they will cost around 2-300 for the motherboard and around 5-600 for the PSU

no Premium Edition does include the game The bf4 premium will not include the game difference between just premium and premium edition :) I also found out the hard way :P in bf3 i purchased the CD of bf3 then purchased the BF3 permium edition 2 seperate games :P

@life --bud, is that 97GB the total used space from your 1tb hdd? or is it just on one partition and have some other used space on your hdd? if the total used space of all the partition on your hdd is 97GB the case is good, just try download the updated software from the manufacturer's site.
Some note, the source's drive's(hdd) used capacity must not exceed the destination's drive's(ssd) capacity. or else you can't clone your hdd to your ssd

@stan im trying to clone one partition of the the hdd which is 97 gb and includes the os...does the total size of the hdd matter ? coz if thats the case im screwed my hdd is 1tb and ssd is only 250.
ooredoo is'nt going to tell you where fibre optics are available unless you give them the electricity number, I tried asking them myself by giving my location and asking if any house around me has fibre, But they kept telling me that info alone wont do them any good..my advice, find a good place, If you like it check the electricity number and then contact ooredoo.

the most common answer ic ould see was getting to update the punkbuster manually. Uninstall PB from your computer then go to their website and download and install

some servers i get kicked within like 2 mins.
but some servers work just fine.
i've googled the shit out of it but still couldnt fix it.
i even spoke to EA Live Help and followed their instructions but no use.
they finally told me that my Internet Server Provider is using some kind of heavy firewall and it is blocking BF3 from working properly. i mean WTF. r u kidding me. after almost 2 years of playing fine. this happens.

If you buy the same items from the same person at the same time or tell the seller to ship them at the same time like a single person then aramex will make them as a single shipment otherwise they will charge each one seperately :P there is no way around that only that you can just get a seller that sells if not everything then many items you require :)

@mr.s i finally bought my headphone and im loving it, i didnt even know about this one its called the g430 adn it looks amazing, feels lighter and much more flexible...its wayy better than the g930 and comes with usb 7.1 so even if i damage the headphones i can buy the g230 and replace the headphones alone its really nice dude and the mic thingy for hearing outside the headset is just phenomenal i can hear everything from my lips opening to my hands rubbing on to the computer chair EPIC DUDE ! the cans are waay lighter and has cloth covering to prevent heat..overall im real happy, i only spent 400 something, :D

it was absolutely hilarious when my friends bought beats studio while i ended up buying g930 and an hdj500 for less than the price of beats, they put on the g930 and thought the studios were a complete waste..lol, so anyways my friend who is kind of a tech geek asked me to get a 50mm or more headset with either a dac or 7.1 external usb soundcard...so i decided on the sennheiser headset with a cheap 7.1 external soundcard :)

Dude i use this G930 and as you know they are amazing and they are USB :P so there maybe a big difference between a jacked and a usb headphone you can youtube that but by far the best Headphone keeping the glitches aside is for me G930 and also now a days top of the line is Astro A40 and A50 you can look into those

the reason why i ask is, i noticed gaming headphones come with either weird audio jacks or usbs while audiophile headphones comes with a standard 3.5mm jack..so i get confused if im missing out on surround experience if i buy quality headphones..i hope u guys understood my question,

@darkol my system does'nt have water cooling, but im really tempted to buy a soundcard but the problem is i havent had any experience with them to make up my mind, i know for sure they do a very good job with speakers but i dont know if its really worth it if im only using headphones :( ,Mr.s is the second person telling me i wont hear a big difference.
I'm still sticking to my unbranded headset, but I believe 7.1 is necessary for gaming. I had my eyes on G35/Vengeance 1500 for a while but then dropped it due to its costiness. Although if I ever build a PC by the end of this summer I might throw a headset in there.
Oh, and I believe sound cards do not get affected by temperature that much, plus you have your GPU's cooling which should be more than enough for the sound card, unless you have everything watercooled.
but i read through its specs again and it seems the tiamat only has a maximum of 30mm driver in it, so im thinking il wait a bit and get the z300 from turtlebeach.
@darkol my motherboard has all the pci slots cramped together so i get high temps quickly and i think it would be worse if i put a soundcard in there plus i cant use speakers at home..
btw i tried to get tiamat today, had no luck finding it, seems lot of people are interested in it.it seems someone had gone there to check if they had it two days ago.
@mr.s cool bro il try buying it tomorrow, il also get some wireless speaker, to be honest my g930 broke coz i used to lie down sideways resting my head on the ear cup lolz :D
and also everything that is wired will outperform wireless :) because wireless can get interference but wired cannot etc etc lot of reasons to get wired but the best part about wireless is that its not wired :P and you can move about freely :) :P
the razer headsets have a pretty long wire though :)

If you buy from jarir or virgin then the service is good My razer megalodon went crazy once and they gave me a new one :P but then i got my logitech G930 which is amazing but alot of glitches and problems. If you gonna buy the tiamat go to virgin they have at almost the same price is razerstore.com and they give warranty so even if 100-200 more is worth it :) tell us if you buy the headset I want to know how it is :P maybe i will also buy it looks amazing

If you cannot do it yourself you can check some online retailers that offer case customization.. but if you have the case already it'll be very costy because of shipping. But that kills the fun of doing the mod yourself :)

Even for the most sophisticated CAD jobs you won't require anything more than 64GB. Anything beyond that is used for servers, virtualizations, and such.
Workstation laptops is also a valid option if you need mobility, but for the most part a Workstation desktop is better and cheaper.
A typical workstation/server motherboard can take in 4 memory modules.
Above-average ones can take 8.
The dual-cpu mobos can take 16.
And then there are specialized boards that can take more than that.
An ECC REG memory module can go as high as 16GB.
16GB x 16 = 256GB.
For that guy to have 96GG is just normal.
2x GTX 570 setups are called SLI-setup. You can put together 2-4 GPUs in 1 machine enabling upto 4x graphic performance. Although having GTX 570 on a workstation is just mediocre, maybe he's using it on other things and not just for CAD/design/3D, He could have went with a Quadro of comparable price and have better performance but then again he could have bought those 570s here...
im not planing to buy in a hurry, that will make prob. i dnt understand hiow that person fixed 96 gb of RAM. and other guy fixed 2 gtx 570 in one workstation. anyone can give me the details that what all things should buy.
Geforce is no good for CAD work, you need a workstation GPU. Get a Quadro card, K5000 or 6000 will do just find although their prices are pretty high.
Don't get a prebuilt workstation as the price for those is over the roof. Do a bit of research and you'll find that you can save loads of money if you buy the parts yourself. But if you're in a hurry, the Z800 should do, but you don't even need half that ram, 32-64gb will do. As for CPU, you don't need 2 xeons, get the E5-2690 and you'll be good for a lifetime.
a High end PC not for gaming but for work. Im working as 3D visualizer. This is what im using in my office (Intel Core i7-3770 CPU @3.40Ghz, 32GB RAM,Nvidia GeForce GTX 670). i dont have that much knowledge about the configuration. Im using 3dsmax, auto cad and sometimes after effects. I want to buy one personally better than this, want to do animations also.My IT has searched in sofitel to get some, but he didn't find. Could someone suggest me a good one. My budget will be max. 12000QR.
These i found it frm some guys who did gud 3D perspectives:
i7-3550K - overclocked to 4.6GHz with 31C idle and 68C max temperature at full load (100%) during prime95 test
Corsair Dominator Platinum 4x4GB modules - XMP profile successful on motherboard - 2133MHz at 1.65 voltage
EVGA GTX 680 Superclocked - overclocked to 1138MHz Base Core and 7000Mhz Memory. Speed goes up to +1200Mhz Boost Core during load. Idle temp is 31C while 42C during full load - heaven benchmark.
Please note that I made my recommendations based on your budget (with extra headroom for options)... and mind you, these are not your typical "overclocker friendly" components.
If you want an overclocked system, check my signature out... I didn't give in to Haswell, coz they aren't good at overclocking... I will take a 4.6Ghz Ivy over a 3.9Ghz Haswell...
Please select a case, your other cooling components depend on it... I can recommmend the CM HAF XB (yes the small case) or CM HAF X or even the CM Cosmos II
I almost forgot... custom water cooling would set you back at least $300 minimum (cpu cooling only)...
Or you could check out the Noctua NH-D14 for air cooling...
I tried a Haswell build... made some savings on cpu and motherboard... thought i could leave you the option for that extra $500 if you want to just use it on case and psu or upgrade your other components... your choice...
I wouldn't go as far as getting a i7-4770k unless you want the fastest 4-core chip out there (non-overclocked) and have deep pockets...
I would recommend buying the case and psu here in qatar as those are heavy and shipping costs will be high.
As for the storage, get 1 TB from sofitel... as any model would do.

yeah i know but once you get into making rigs yourself its hard to get out :P i know as i started in this thread with core 2duo as my first build in an 80 qr case with keyboard and mouse free :P and look where i am now :P so better go with a big case incase you wanna upgrade in the future which surely is gonna happen :P and also i don't recommend shipping a case :P it costs double ahha :P
As for case size, when it comes to budget builds it doesn't really matter. I've had an matx case before and the system was perfect, you just need to figure how you'll arrange everything before you buy the stuff so you don't get stuck with unfitting items. Also the case I had in the list fits 2-3 full size GPUs.. and you can check out some pictures of it. But it's also personal preference. ;)
I'm actually using the same HDD in the list and it hasn't failed me for over a year and a half or so. But it's always better to split your stuff in case one of your HDDs goes bad.
Also, about the shipping; when you ship half of the stuff directly from Amazon you'll be left with stuff that are worth 600-$800 tops so you're good. They only charge customs over $1000, and for the record I bought a $1100 laptop for a friend and shipped it through aramex and I didn't pay anything extra, so I'm not exactly sure how customs work.
btw i think you should remove the 2TB HDD and add 2*1TB's because they are more stable then 2TB i read alot about this
and also instead of the vengeance get the dominators they look more cool and they are more heavy and better looking :P you don't want to pay couple of hundreds and end up with plastic :P
you should always go for a full tower case buddy maybe in the future you will go for water cooling and you will need a full tower plus if you want to add big gpus and alot of HDD's you should get the extra space :)

It's a specific problem with rampage mobos, the rest are pretty good.. in fact asus is considered a 'first class' motherboard.

1) What is your case choice? going full tower / mid tower / or Mini-ATX?
2) If you plan on going water cooling, I would suggest a custom loop... Those closed loops are a disaster waiting to happen. Or you can always go with the good air cooling (noctua/thermalright/etc..)
3) Is this your "NEW" pc or are you upgrading? For that case, we can re-use the HDD and PSU etc...

For Mr.S - i can see your frustrations with asus mobos... please dont just blatantly state that they are all bad and telling people not to buy them.. i have been using asus mobos for years... not a single problem till today... well there are some, but nothing that i didnt fix... what was your issue with the rampage board?
i only bought the motherboard and processor with shipping for above 5000 :P the gpu was another 2500 and so on :P
and gpu if you are going for th 700 series then atleast add 600 dollars more and shipping for all these items should be around 3-400$ maximum i guess
i suggest you use aramex will be cheaper i think and if you ship them sepperately like buy these items from different places you won't need to pay customs

You might want to put shipping cost into consideration, you'll be paying a little bit over 1000QR to ship the stuff through amazon or aramex. Plus if you're buying from amazon or any similar website you need to find out whether you'll be paying taxes or not. For amazon you're always paying taxes when you ship to aramex, and it's painful. Although if you ship directly to Qatar through amazon you'll be only responsible for shipping cost as well as import fees.
Also it's true, 3770k -> 4770k is not worth the $$ difference. But I would go with haswell only because of the Z87 motherboards.

and the motherboard you should do a bit more research get the gigabyte's or EVGa motherboards ASUS are top of the line but with alot of faults and bad service :) and the case i would say get as big as possible because you will need in the future HDD's i will reccomend WD black caviar nothing other than that other are either overpriced or not good lifeline
mouse i recommend from razer or logitech same for keyboard and the headset you should go for logitech G930 :) its amazing
and monitor you should get the DELL U2713Hm 1440p :D
motherboard i would say skip the asus brands i have had a really bad experience with rampage IV extreme which was about 2000 qr and the best on the market :/ its shit

Managed to complete my rig. Overclocking atm. 4.6GHz @ 1.2 vcore and still playing with it... 68C max with 100% load... I wish I can go up to 5GHz but that's a long shot. I'm not going more than 80C that's for sure.
and cooling as you don't know watercooling probably i would suggest corsair H100 or anything they have latest in this series they are the best pre built water cooling systems
and you can't buy unless you have a US billing address meaning a creditcard there in the US i know newegg is cheap but thats the problem so just go buy from amazon or something :P
and you will receive an email when the item is delivered to your aramex shop and ship account in the US or US and you will be given a username and password to track the item afterwords

@paulobanez... get a solid state drive, although an expensive way to making things faster for you, but in the long run, it's worth it. Nowadays, a 128GB would cost you less than QR 500 if bought online.
it will get slower if you put alot of data :P avoid downloading and avoid installing or keeping stuff in the OS partition and keep an antivirus regular defragmentation etc etc or you can just dump the laptop and get a custom computer :P

Its just distilled water i bought it in almeera (old dasman) in najma area its a white semi transparent bottle used mostly in car radiators and car batteries but is distilled water so can be used as cpu coolant too.. works great for me i add pt-nuke with it
you see ouyahama you can just get gift cards from qib also prepaid gift cards are like you just buy for a certain amount and use them online and throw them away :) like vodafone crdti cards :P but one thing is that you will always end up with 5-6 qr you can't spend :P because they have fixed amounts check there websites for more info
the credit cards if you pay them on time there is no intrest but if you get late in paying them back they will charge interest
and you can use some of the banks debit cards also just link them to your paypal account and then keep buying online where it is accepted :)

5000QR, slightly negotiable. I will be selling it with a 16" backpack and for an extra 200 I can provide a custom fit 240Watts power adapter (the original one is 180 watts) which I bought initially for overclocking and whatnot, but I never had free time to test it extensively. I also have a new Crucial M4 128gb SSD (7mm edition) that I could throw in for an additional 500qr.
The laptop is fully upgradable. Honestly that's why I bought it in the first place. It has 2 SATA slots and 1 mSATA slot, 4 ram slots, removable CPU, and MXM3 GPU.
i can run crysis 3 at full high settings but i didnt like that game that much :P played it a little then deleted it maybe will play it again someday in the future :P and about tombraider i dont know because i don;t play RPG games

@darkol lol Dude u have no idea how much i love msi, but you'l have to admit they dont compare to asus when it comes to design, but it all flips the other way around when it comes to value and system components. Another problem- they always run out of graphic cards almost the moment they come out, so people will end up buying either evga,asus or zotac locally. so they never get to experience msi.
@mr.s youre right msi sounds and looks really cheap, especially when it comes to their tabs and laptops..but i own a gigabyte version and an msi version of 560 ti and i have to say msi is a beast, i was able to turn up core voltage to maximum and overclock it really well without the temp going above 60. the reason why msi card can do this is because they have custom made pcb on their lightning edition and hawk edition of cards. plus their overclock tool msi afterburner is the best software for overclocking. people use the same tool for overclocking though their card maybe a different brand. the only reason im considering an asus is because its easier for removing their heatsink for cleaning.
@mr.s i ended buying a lg 32 inch tv, I know its a horrible choice for pc gaming ..but i was impatient, but i really like it, it has passive 3d which gives me half an inch more in size when i add depth :D , but im definitely going to buy a 780...computex 2013 is going to start on the 4th of this month so msi will most probably release a twin frozr edition of the 780, which il be getting.
@lovidore youre right all i need for running current games is a 670, but the thing is maxwell is coming out in 2014 and if i make an upgrade to 600 series il most probably end up making another upgrade in 2014, so im thinking why not buy a 780 now and just sli it when i need an upgrade..
I still don't get why people would want to go with anything further than 1080p. I mean unless it's a 40"+ screen you will hardly notice any difference. Get a quality 1080p and you're good to go.

What kind of load temps are you getting with your raystorm? You're running everything off 1 RX 360 which is wow considering you're cooling a 3930k and a 680 classy with just 1 rad :P

If you're playing on a 1080p screen then you're most likely good with a 7950/GTX670. You don't need to go super high end to play at that resolution at 1080p. Don't make the mistake most people make by going SUPER high end.
Well if you plan on buying the M17x here I think it's around 10000-12000 riyals so I wouldn't go for that.
I was going to settle for a laptop before I built my desktop, and I found the greatest laptops overall to be Clevo/Sager. There's no support for them around here but they're great and you can get international support for online purchases if you need a warranty. You can get something equivalent to the m17x for around $1600 plus shipping fees.
Although I did build my PC instead of getting an ultra high end laptop, I ended up buying a laptop a few months later. I'm using it this moment! It's an MSI GT60. It was a steal and I couldn't resist. :P
The tools to record gameplay are more of a driver feature for the GTX 780 which in theory, should be included with other drivers.
Don't get a GTX 690, in fact don't even get a 780. I'm sure you'll be gaming on a 1080p screen and if you are, then you're really just tossing money at things you don't need.

i used QNB you can use any banks credit card as long as its a credit card :) you just link it to paypal and then you are good to go.. you can get from sidewindercomputers couple of good sellers in ebay you can buy from in bulk and will give you discount and amazon frozencpu performance-pcs etc alot of shops but these are the ones i used :)

you just make a paypal account link your credit card there and its fine :) almost every website except newegg will accept it :) the billing thing is not that strict my friends billing address is of qatar in the paypal account and i ordered from alot of websites there wasnt any problem :)

playing with 2 monitors is not that much of fun i think ;/ confuses you :P never tried it.. i have a second screen but thats just for monitoring stuff and chating while i watch movies + it looks cool :D
120 MHz gives you 120 FPS which feels more smooth/faster for some not everyone can see it
1440P give you 1,6 million pixels more then 1080P or 80% more which makes games look so much better
you have in 1440p these 2 choices the best of the best
i dont like console gaming :/ no comparison with what graphics a computer can give you :P

first you should see what gpu's you have and will they be able to support high end monitors or not do you have SLI's or single GPU ? and what gpu do you have
the first choice you have is 1440p 60hz and the second is 120Hz 1080p
both are different and no you cannot get a 1440p 120Hz monitor
if you go for 1440p you will need a pretty strong GPU and if you go for 120Hz i don't think you will need either

ouyahama i doubt you will find a thermal paste here :P a good one i guess but even if you get cheap ones there isnt alot of temperature difference if you are not overclocking extremely get any thermal compound but only the silver/gray ones not the white ones if you can buy online i recommend arctic cooling just google and you will find :)

nin, honestly just use a shipping forwarder and order from amazon.com or the likes (mainly amazon). You'll get much ,much better prices, in addition to the best selection of all the lastest stuff, instead of 2nd tier things that are twice as much as the lastest things on amazon.com

On a side note. I noticed that I'm CONSISTENTLY getting pings of around 100 (usually 102 exactly) with BF4 servers in Singapore (filter it). I used to get pings in the 90s from the UK, but that was short lived. If anyone wants server names, I can post it, but it's easier just to filter it.

Hey fellow enthusiasts! I'm planning to assemble a portable rig. I was wonderin if someone here knows where to buy high-end computer parts in Qatar? I've been to sofitel but I couldn't find the parts I'm looking for in that area. If there's none in Qatar, where do you guys usually order stuff? Online? so dice finally released their patch which fixed the server crashes, I have plenty of servers in my favorites which has less than 145 ping, my friend does not seem to have any problem either..so if youre planning to buy this game, now would be a great time, hope to see you in the battlefield soon
That's weird.. I have had something similar in BF3 when I first started playing online. But still, 140 is not all that bad!
2 server's I *was* getting consistently low 90s ping on the server list and of course in game. However just today they're both coming up as 140s.
The last few days it must of not rained between Qatar and the UK I guess

@erasmus, pings consistent below 90 or just showing so on the server browser? This alone might get me to buy the game.. I have not had a proper multiplayer session in ages.
@pavancpk123, most of the parts available here are either outdated or extremely overpriced. Many of us buy everything online and get it shipped through Aramex.

This is crazy how ea/origin are releasing games absolutely full of bugs and unplayable for most people.
To add insult to injury, the severs to download the client are completely, utterly inadequate.
I really have to say, steam and activision are head over heals better in this regard. Seriously EA? Customers have the change their continent to a place much further away from their physical location to get fast download speeds? That's ridiculous. That alone makes me want to never again buy another one of their products.

Finally got it working. The nature of the error lead me to believe it definiately wasn't a driver or pb error but rather a dns related problem.
I deleted the PROFSAVE_profile and it fixed the problem completely and it's working fine now.
I found 2 servers so far that give us pings in the 90s which is amazing considering
@erasmus im hoping the second workaround will do the trick so, please make sure u follow it carefully..
@erasmus The game has a settings file leak, where it gets slower and slower every time you make a change to any jet keybindings in settings.
To reset it delete the PROFSAVE_profile file in your My Documents/Battleifeld 4/settings directory and start over.
You'll have to rebind all keys again, which also count towards your max # of settings changes.
This is an issue with both jet and helicopter bindings
THIS IS A MAJOR BUG WHICH EA HAS YET TO ACKNOWLEDGE
For those who are PC savvy, here is a regex to find/remove all of the invalid entries in the PROFSAVE_profile file

Head to punkbuster.com and click the Download PBSetup button, and select the option “For All Windows Games."
Open pbsetup.zip, then run pbsetup.exe. Accept the EULA, follow the instructions, update PunkBuster, and then click Add a Game.
In the drop down menu, select Battlefield 4, then Add Game, and finally, before trying to run Battlefield 4 again, Check for Updates.
@erasmus, thats the same problem my friend keeps complaining about, but i also seem to be having the 2nd problem u mentioned regarding the server refresh, I just click through all the games and it refreshes and join the empty ones..What my friend does is he joins the server without any players, I join his game and then just wait for players to fill up..
I just finished the download this morning. Found that if I connect via the US, the download rate was 3x as fast, but still around 250-300kb/sec which is ridiculoursly slow
However, I can't seem to connect to any servers. It keeps disconnecting me before the game loads. Also noticed that the refresh rate of origin's server details are really slow and even servers that are half full are full by the time you refresh then join.
Frustrating because after the beta I bought 2 gtx 780s for sli and now I can't even see how the game runs!!
my friend and many others are having problem connecting to the server, cant figure out whats up with that, i can join any server, But hes able to join servers with very less people, So if you are experiencing the same issue i suggest u do that, If anyone knows how to fix this, please lemme know..
Btw guys, i ran into bit of a trouble the day the game released..turns out u need to reinstall punkbuster to latest version and install the latest BETA driver..not the latest driver but the latest BETA 331.40,
@erasmus the game is insane btw, truly amazing..u can hide in fallen buildings, get inside containers and close them, take cover and peek for killing, counter knife if they approach u from front, the grass, trees and shrubs move when u pass through them, levolution and climate change is just fantastic...
@erasmus, i have 10mbps fibre, i got within 4 hours the day preload was available,so did my friend.
How long did it take you to download bf4? did you find a better gateway? On fibre now I'm hitting 150kb/sec at 50% finished at this rate it'll take days to finish....

I'm downloading BF4 has I type this. ea's servers much really be bogged down cause I'm getting 120kb/sec and the fibre speed test seems fine.
I finally got my 2 gtx 780 classifieds installed in my loop and added a 3rd radiator, but this one only in push, and not in push and pull like the other 2 bigger ones. I haven't seen the cards go over 27 deg running futuremark 11 with the room temp being 25 deg.
so who'll be playing bf4?!???

-Asus Maximus VI Extreme (don't get it just coz it's extreme, that board is HUGE! and warrants you to go for SLI or XFire to appreciate it, otherwise get the Maximus VI Formula or any of the Maximus VI series.
Have you considered going for a minimalist build? It's trending nowadays.
Some rambles against your setup.
-Corsair AX1200i PSU (i think 850W should cover the power you need, but if you plan to overclock/custom water cooling or SLI/XFire, then stick with 1200W)
-WD Red 3 TB NAS Hard Drive (don't order this online, buy locally, your hdd gets wtfpwnd during shipping)
-Corsair Liquid CPU Cooler H100i (really? that H100i is just terribad. Noctua DH-14 is better. or go for custom water cooling)
-Get 2x8GB of 2133Mhz (you won't need 4 channels due to your CPU is a 4770K, but aesthetically 4 looks cool
-Get an EXTERNAL Blu-Ray burner, that internal will just accumulate dust and space in your rig. Clean setup FTW!

I'm not quite sure honestly. I haven't been there since forever, but last time I checked they had some of the latest parts for triple the price of what you could get online.
And yes, you can order from Amazon with almost any online-compatible credit card. The problem we usually face is shipping, while Amazon does provide door to door shipping it has a price.. and it isn't cheap. Although as I said earlier, even with the overpriced-ish shipping you're still saving some thousands of riyals.
To order from Amazon you need to have a credit card that can be used online, usually banks will state whether their cards are online compatible or not. When you get that, you can search for items that...

Won't be using graphical options like Anti-Aliasing and in most cases, Depth of Field at all.
Should hopefully last at least 4-5 years.

well the rampage IV extreme with me had alot of problems :/ and heard about it alot also that it always comes faulty from the manufacturer anyways you can look up online and you will see i would suggest a 3930k instead of the 3770 because its better :) and you wouldnt go for a tri sli but just in case get it anyways :P or wait a while and when the new stuff comes out the old will drop there prices

@nelly I used a heat gun on the shrinks. first i got it all messed, after a few strands of wires and practice i got it done, just don't give up trying. we learn most from the mistakes. here's my some of my sleeved cables.
@nelly i had horrible experience with my sli setup because of my motherboard ..the pci slots were too close, My cards couldn't breathe, But i always had great experience with nvidia's multiple gpu cards..9800gx2(Gigabyte) and now 690(Evga), No headaches, No over clock, More breathing room for cpu cooler its just perfect for me..im pretty sure you wont run into any issues with sli coz 700 series have better cooling than 600 series..But dont just take my opinion wait for the others and please dont rush into buying anything until nvidia release the two new cards, im pretty sure nvidia will drop the price or make slight adjustments for rest of the cards.. to make these two fit in..
Lifesgr8: I just hope there isn't too much issue with 770 classy SLI. I still would prefer single GPU though. But we'll see where my budget will take me. :D
3stan: what did you use on the heat shrink? I tried using a hair blower and failed miserably. So I didn't bother getting connector removers as I know I'll just be disappointed with my work. T_T
I ended up buying sleeved cable extensions. But it really blew up the volume of cables behind the mobo tray.
i love the size of the haf 922, it got the rugged look but not too big.. got also some great features..

@nelly now that is a smart move, 2 680's definitely overpowers a 690 and a 770 is a 680 on steroids that is overclocked and pushed harder to deliver more output..

so, two days ago i decided to go for gtx 780. but after reading forums and reviews from different sites, now im confused on what gpu upgrade would suite me. some say cfx 7970 will cost about the same price for gtx 780 and the preformance would likely be the same. some people say that gtx 770 is more than enough for the upcoming games.

Believe it or not, Gta V will come to pc. It's a major cash-cow franchise, and Rockstar wouldn't have it any other way. Moreover, Nvidia also recently spilled the beans in an interview hinting the possibility of a pc version of Gta V sometime later on:

780 vs 7990ghz
definitely a 780, if you can buy one more down the road for SLI, 7990ghz if you are only planning to buy one card, the 7990ghz slightly better than 780, The difference is really small but no physx.
Now i did mention earlier regarding running physx on your cpu, But you can never get the exact experience, you will lose some of your frame rates since your cpu will be doing the calculations and 80% of the effects will be stripped out.
@flintknapper, Before i respond i would like to point out that im not a fanboy of either companies, Now regarding your question both are really good gpu manufacturers, But nvidia currently has the edge in gpu industry because of their physx technology and sli compatibility, there have been very few reports of Micro stuttering in nvidia cards but amd on the other hand does tend to have these issues in the beginning until they release a fix later on, Most game updates released these days are to fix issues for amd cards.. you can read it in the game update description..
Is Nvidia better? Not really. Amd used to be known for bad drivers before, and hence Nvidia became popular among enthusiasts ever since. Amd cards are on par with Nvidia ones, except that they lack physx which can be achieved on your cpu via a small tweak.
The pc version of gta 5 won't see the light of the day for at least another 6 months or so. It also depends on what you consider "good enough". If you're going play on 1080p or below, you should be fine with most settings cranked up( no AA). Anything above and you'll need cf/sli.

Dude!! If i were you GO to dubai or order online. SLI Set up will be the best for you because you can use 4 monitors to display your Desktop, it's best than 3D though :D

@lemeul i checked online the card will cost you around 1600 including shipping, and if you still think physx is important, both ps4 and xbox one are equipped with amd chipsets, So only very few games are going to support this technology in future. And please do not think the performance for both 780 and 7970 ghz are exactly the same, Please check for reviews and benchmark's online before you make up your mind, im pretty sure you will think the same, its very close :).
@lemuel if you cant push your budget any further i would suggest you to get a ps4, That is of course if your sole purpose is gaming, if not then i would suggest you get 7970ghz edition graphic card, Its performance is pretty much the same as gtx 780 for Half the price, only disadvantage would be no physx..but people have found a workaround for it by installing simple softwares which can run physx through your cpu.

yeah i checked, its gonna make very little difference since my cpu cant handle that bandwidth, plus it seems going above 1600 will not increase gaming performance in real world but it will help increase performance for video editing and stuff..i guess il take your advice and upgrade my cooling for now and motherboard later..
I think you can go with the ram more than 2000MHZ also if you overclock it depends on the motherboard also if it will support it :)
@mastermas i had no idea you can go above 1600mhz with 980x, Btw are you running the rams on triple channel or dual channel ?, and is your system detecting 24gb of your ram or just 16gb.

if you play mostly FPS games then you can get the 120HZ but you can also get 1 1440p and 2 120HZ so you can have both :P
Yeah i agree 3d is crap, you will play around with it for the first few days and then eventually forget about it, And i'd suggest you to go for a 120hz rather than a 1440p, Coz you wont require Vertical sync when you're using 120 hz so you will get a huge performance boost on your card for future games..
dude you will get a 30" monitor i think for around 2000+ qr here but no use get them online and when i was going to buy a while ago the people on overclock.net told me to buy either a 1440p monitor or a 1080p 120hz monitor
120hz gives a smoother experience (less of a jerky motion, everything is smooth) also 120hz brings 3D Capability if you buy the Nvidia Glasses.
1440p is a higher resolution, therefore you get a better picture. Depends whats more important to you.

has not arrived yet :( , But this one and alfa makes real good adapters..i have tried one of my friends alfa adapter for lan gaming in my hostel and that one worked remarkably well, It had really good range and i did notice my ping go down, i was actually about to buy the same adapter until i came across premiertek, reading the specs and feedback premiertek should outperform alfa, But another perk with alfa is u can find lots of tweaks, like of which can increase its range and allow you to hack other networks..But i like things simple. So bought premiertek.

no Premium Edition does include the game The bf4 premium will not include the game difference between just premium and premium edition :) I also found out the hard way :P in bf3 i purchased the CD of bf3 then purchased the BF3 permium edition 2 seperate games :P

@life --bud, is that 97GB the total used space from your 1tb hdd? or is it just on one partition and have some other used space on your hdd? if the total used space of all the partition on your hdd is 97GB the case is good, just try download the updated software from the manufacturer's site.
Some note, the source's drive's(hdd) used capacity must not exceed the destination's drive's(ssd) capacity. or else you can't clone your hdd to your ssd

@stan im trying to clone one partition of the the hdd which is 97 gb and includes the os...does the total size of the hdd matter ? coz if thats the case im screwed my hdd is 1tb and ssd is only 250.
ooredoo is'nt going to tell you where fibre optics are available unless you give them the electricity number, I tried asking them myself by giving my location and asking if any house around me has fibre, But they kept telling me that info alone wont do them any good..my advice, find a good place, If you like it check the electricity number and then contact ooredoo.

i've been having this error in BF3
"game disconnected you were kicked by punkbuster. stated reason punkbuster kicked player (the00prince). no packet flow"
some servers i get kicked within like 2 mins.
but some servers work just fine.
i've googled the shit out of it but still couldnt fix it.
i even spoke to EA Live Help and followed their instructions but no use.
they finally told me that my Internet Server Provider is using some kind of heavy firewall and it is blocking BF3 from working properly. i mean WTF. r u kidding me. after almost 2 years of playing fine. this happens.

If you buy the same items from the same person at the same time or tell the seller to ship them at the same time like a single person then aramex will make them as a single shipment otherwise they will charge each one seperately :P there is no way around that only that you can just get a seller that sells if not everything then many items you require :)

@mr.s i finally bought my headphone and im loving it, i didnt even know about this one its called the g430 adn it looks amazing, feels lighter and much more flexible...its wayy better than the g930 and comes with usb 7.1 so even if i damage the headphones i can buy the g230 and replace the headphones alone its really nice dude and the mic thingy for hearing outside the headset is just phenomenal i can hear everything from my lips opening to my hands rubbing on to the computer chair EPIC DUDE ! the cans are waay lighter and has cloth covering to prevent heat..overall im real happy, i only spent 400 something, :D

it was absolutely hilarious when my friends bought beats studio while i ended up buying g930 and an hdj500 for less than the price of beats, they put on the g930 and thought the studios were a complete waste..lol, so anyways my friend who is kind of a tech geek asked me to get a 50mm or more headset with either a dac or 7.1 external usb soundcard...so i decided on the sennheiser headset with a cheap 7.1 external soundcard :)

I'm still sticking to my unbranded headset, but I believe 7.1 is necessary for gaming. I had my eyes on G35/Vengeance 1500 for a while but then dropped it due to its costiness. Although if I ever build a PC by the end of this summer I might throw a headset in there.
Oh, and I believe sound cards do not get affected by temperature that much, plus you have your GPU's cooling which should be more than enough for the sound card, unless you have everything watercooled.
but i read through its specs again and it seems the tiamat only has a maximum of 30mm driver in it, so im thinking il wait a bit and get the z300 from turtlebeach.
@darkol my motherboard has all the pci slots cramped together so i get high temps quickly and i think it would be worse if i put a soundcard in there plus i cant use speakers at home..
btw i tried to get tiamat today, had no luck finding it, seems lot of people are interested in it.it seems someone had gone there to check if they had it two days ago.
you can always go down the sound card road if you think integrated sound card is not enough, but it's really not worth it unless you're an audiophile.

and also everything that is wired will outperform wireless :) because wireless can get interference but wired cannot etc etc lot of reasons to get wired but the best part about wireless is that its not wired :P and you can move about freely :) :P
the razer headsets have a pretty long wire though :)

If you buy from jarir or virgin then the service is good My razer megalodon went crazy once and they gave me a new one :P but then i got my logitech G930 which is amazing but alot of glitches and problems. If you gonna buy the tiamat go to virgin they have at almost the same price is razerstore.com and they give warranty so even if 100-200 more is worth it :) tell us if you buy the headset I want to know how it is :P maybe i will also buy it looks amazing

hey guys, i wanted feedback from you guys regarding service centres for popular headset brands like razer, turtle beach etc since i broke both my logitech g930 and creative tactic 3d within one year, the sad thing is i cant fix both of them since i did'nt buy the logitech headset from jarir and i cant even find a service center for creative..currently im considering buying the razer tiamat even though i hate that brand altogether :P
If you cannot do it yourself you can check some online retailers that offer case customization.. but if you have the case already it'll be very costy because of shipping. But that kills the fun of doing the mod yourself :)
I don't have tools/workshop for this :) If I had a garage at home I might have been able to do so...
I am not good with tools but you can always just watch youtube videos and do it yourself :) it will be better plus you will learn alot :)

Even for the most sophisticated CAD jobs you won't require anything more than 64GB. Anything beyond that is used for servers, virtualizations, and such.
Workstation laptops is also a valid option if you need mobility, but for the most part a Workstation desktop is better and cheaper.
A typical workstation/server motherboard can take in 4 memory modules.
Above-average ones can take 8.
The dual-cpu mobos can take 16.
And then there are specialized boards that can take more than that.
An ECC REG memory module can go as high as 16GB.
16GB x 16 = 256GB.
For that guy to have 96GG is just normal.
2x GTX 570 setups are called SLI-setup. You can put together 2-4 GPUs in 1 machine enabling upto 4x graphic performance. Although having GTX 570 on a workstation is just mediocre, maybe he's using it on other things and not just for CAD/design/3D, He could have went with a Quadro of comparable price and have better performance but then again he could have bought those 570s here...

Geforce is no good for CAD work, you need a workstation GPU. Get a Quadro card, K5000 or 6000 will do just find although their prices are pretty high.
Don't get a prebuilt workstation as the price for those is over the roof. Do a bit of research and you'll find that you can save loads of money if you buy the parts yourself. But if you're in a hurry, the Z800 should do, but you don't even need half that ram, 32-64gb will do. As for CPU, you don't need 2 xeons, get the E5-2690 and you'll be good for a lifetime.

If you want an overclocked system, check my signature out... I didn't give in to Haswell, coz they aren't good at overclocking... I will take a 4.6Ghz Ivy over a 3.9Ghz Haswell...
Please select a case, your other cooling components depend on it... I can recommmend the CM HAF XB (yes the small case) or CM HAF X or even the CM Cosmos II
I almost forgot... custom water cooling would set you back at least $300 minimum (cpu cooling only)...
Or you could check out the Noctua NH-D14 for air cooling...
I tried a Haswell build... made some savings on cpu and motherboard... thought i could leave you the option for that extra $500 if you want to just use it on case and psu or upgrade your other components... your choice...
I wouldn't go as far as getting a i7-4770k unless you want the fastest 4-core chip out there (non-overclocked) and have deep pockets...
I would recommend buying the case and psu here in qatar as those are heavy and shipping costs will be high.
As for the storage, get 1 TB from sofitel... as any model would do.

yeah i know but once you get into making rigs yourself its hard to get out :P i know as i started in this thread with core 2duo as my first build in an 80 qr case with keyboard and mouse free :P and look where i am now :P so better go with a big case incase you wanna upgrade in the future which surely is gonna happen :P and also i don't recommend shipping a case :P it costs double ahha :P
As for case size, when it comes to budget builds it doesn't really matter. I've had an matx case before and the system was perfect, you just need to figure how you'll arrange everything before you buy the stuff so you don't get stuck with unfitting items. Also the case I had in the list fits 2-3 full size GPUs.. and you can check out some pictures of it. But it's also personal preference. ;)
I'm actually using the same HDD in the list and it hasn't failed me for over a year and a half or so. But it's always better to split your stuff in case one of your HDDs goes bad.
Also, about the shipping; when you ship half of the stuff directly from Amazon you'll be left with stuff that are worth 600-$800 tops so you're good. They only charge customs over $1000, and for the record I bought a $1100 laptop for a friend and shipped it through aramex and I didn't pay anything extra, so I'm not exactly sure how customs work.
btw i think you should remove the 2TB HDD and add 2*1TB's because they are more stable then 2TB i read alot about this
and also instead of the vengeance get the dominators they look more cool and they are more heavy and better looking :P you don't want to pay couple of hundreds and end up with plastic :P
you should always go for a full tower case buddy maybe in the future you will go for water cooling and you will need a full tower plus if you want to add big gpus and alot of HDD's you should get the extra space :)

It's a specific problem with rampage mobos, the rest are pretty good.. in fact asus is considered a 'first class' motherboard.

2) If you plan on going water cooling, I would suggest a custom loop... Those closed loops are a disaster waiting to happen. Or you can always go with the good air cooling (noctua/thermalright/etc..)
3) Is this your "NEW" pc or are you upgrading? For that case, we can re-use the HDD and PSU etc...

and gpu if you are going for th 700 series then atleast add 600 dollars more and shipping for all these items should be around 3-400$ maximum i guess
i suggest you use aramex will be cheaper i think and if you ship them sepperately like buy these items from different places you won't need to pay customs
amazon has taxes and alot of taxes :P you should also consider performance-pcs and sidewindercomputers and frozen cpu and tigerdirect etc etc i don't know about the processor though just avoid asus as i said in motherboards :)
You might want to put shipping cost into consideration, you'll be paying a little bit over 1000QR to ship the stuff through amazon or aramex. Plus if you're buying from amazon or any similar website you need to find out whether you'll be paying taxes or not. For amazon you're always paying taxes when you ship to aramex, and it's painful. Although if you ship directly to Qatar through amazon you'll be only responsible for shipping cost as well as import fees.
Also it's true, 3770k -> 4770k is not worth the $$ difference. But I would go with haswell only because of the Z87 motherboards.

and the motherboard you should do a bit more research get the gigabyte's or EVGa motherboards ASUS are top of the line but with alot of faults and bad service :) and the case i would say get as big as possible because you will need in the future HDD's i will reccomend WD black caviar nothing other than that other are either overpriced or not good lifeline
mouse i recommend from razer or logitech same for keyboard and the headset you should go for logitech G930 :) its amazing
and monitor you should get the DELL U2713Hm 1440p :D

@paulobanez... get a solid state drive, although an expensive way to making things faster for you, but in the long run, it's worth it. Nowadays, a 128GB would cost you less than QR 500 if bought online.
it will get slower if you put alot of data :P avoid downloading and avoid installing or keeping stuff in the OS partition and keep an antivirus regular defragmentation etc etc or you can just dump the laptop and get a custom computer :P

the coolant is just distilled water :D i got UV tubes :D its better because heard in reviews that the UV coolant will be gone after a few weeks

Its just distilled water i bought it in almeera (old dasman) in najma area its a white semi transparent bottle used mostly in car radiators and car batteries but is distilled water so can be used as cpu coolant too.. works great for me i add pt-nuke with it

@ouya i believe you can use any credit card, why dont you try yours, the worst that could happen is them rejecting it and if they do all you have to do is buy a card from doha bank for using online, check their website for more info..
you can either get an aramex account which is one time payment of 160 something qr and then they will give you a us china dubai and uk address to which you tell the seller to ship to and then when its delivered to that address aramex will deliver it here to you :)

let me share with you my favorite games this year so far. and i think everyone should totally play.
1. Bioshock Infinite. best game in 2013 so far hands down.
2. Metro Last Light. amazing game. puts you in this scary interesting world. loved it.
3. Tombraider. amazing reboot of the series. and i didnt get what do you mean by RPG here Mr.S this is not an RPG game by any means.
i can run crysis 3 at full high settings but i didnt like that game that much :P played it a little then deleted it maybe will play it again someday in the future :P and about tombraider i dont know because i don;t play RPG games
Man I was joking. I knew exactly what I was getting with MSI before I bought it, and it hasn't failed to satisfy me up til now.
I will probably sell it in the upcoming weeks though, I found the laptop I've been looking for, and I immediately fell in love with it. It's Clevo W230ST. A 13" with specs almost identical to mine.
@darkol Btw i checked out ur laptop online..sweet man !, but checkout what this reviewer has to say about its design in the beginning...Again msi is all about power and performance, so im not trashing it or anything, just pointing things out :D.
@darkol lol Dude u have no idea how much i love msi, but you'l have to admit they dont compare to asus when it comes to design, but it all flips the other way around when it comes to value and system components. Another problem- they always run out of graphic cards almost the moment they come out, so people will end up buying either evga,asus or zotac locally. so they never get to experience msi.

But a single 680 should be enough at 1080p for most of the current games including Crysis.. not Tomb Raider though..

@mr.s lol, but what about crysis 3 ? can you run that game in very high settings without any frame rate drop ?

@mr.s youre right msi sounds and looks really cheap, especially when it comes to their tabs and laptops..but i own a gigabyte version and an msi version of 560 ti and i have to say msi is a beast, i was able to turn up core voltage to maximum and overclock it really well without the temp going above 60. the reason why msi card can do this is because they have custom made pcb on their lightning edition and hawk edition of cards. plus their overclock tool msi afterburner is the best software for overclocking. people use the same tool for overclocking though their card maybe a different brand. the only reason im considering an asus is because its easier for removing their heatsink for cleaning.
Darkol i read reviews and asked experts they said once you go 1440p or 120Hz you will never look back its alot of difference so i guess its better :P
i got 2 good like one of the best 1080 60hz screens but i don't like tha quality :/ :P
yeah Tv's i thought of first getting but i asked some people on overclock.net and they said its a very bad choice :P for a pc

@mr.s i ended buying a lg 32 inch tv, I know its a horrible choice for pc gaming ..but i was impatient, but i really like it, it has passive 3d which gives me half an inch more in size when i add depth :D , but im definitely going to buy a 780...computex 2013 is going to start on the 4th of this month so msi will most probably release a twin frozr edition of the 780, which il be getting.
@lovidore youre right all i need for running current games is a 670, but the thing is maxwell is coming out in 2014 and if i make an upgrade to 600 series il most probably end up making another upgrade in 2014, so im thinking why not buy a 780 now and just sli it when i need an upgrade..
I still don't get why people would want to go with anything further than 1080p. I mean unless it's a 40"+ screen you will hardly notice any difference. Get a quality 1080p and you're good to go.

What kind of load temps are you getting with your raystorm? You're running everything off 1 RX 360 which is wow considering you're cooling a 3930k and a 680 classy with just 1 rad :P

If you're playing on a 1080p screen then you're most likely good with a 7950/GTX670. You don't need to go super high end to play at that resolution at 1080p. Don't make the mistake most people make by going SUPER high end.
Well if you plan on buying the M17x here I think it's around 10000-12000 riyals so I wouldn't go for that.
I was going to settle for a laptop before I built my desktop, and I found the greatest laptops overall to be Clevo/Sager. There's no support for them around here but they're great and you can get international support for online purchases if you need a warranty. You can get something equivalent to the m17x for around $1600 plus shipping fees.
Although I did build my PC instead of getting an ultra high end laptop, I ended up buying a laptop a few months later. I'm using it this moment! It's an MSI GT60. It was a steal and I couldn't resist. :P

The tools to record gameplay are more of a driver feature for the GTX 780 which in theory, should be included with other drivers.
Don't get a GTX 690, in fact don't even get a 780. I'm sure you'll be gaming on a 1080p screen and if you are, then you're really just tossing money at things you don't need.
What games are you playing?

i used QNB you can use any banks credit card as long as its a credit card :) you just link it to paypal and then you are good to go.. you can get from sidewindercomputers couple of good sellers in ebay you can buy from in bulk and will give you discount and amazon frozencpu performance-pcs etc alot of shops but these are the ones i used :)

you just make a paypal account link your credit card there and its fine :) almost every website except newegg will accept it :) the billing thing is not that strict my friends billing address is of qatar in the paypal account and i ordered from alot of websites there wasnt any problem :)

you should do a little more research on if you want 1440p 60hz or 1080p 120Hz alot of difference there which myself dont know that much just google about them and you can't find in qatar but online you can :) about 2000 for the monitor and maybe 3-500 for shiping

@mr.s thanks a lot for your detailed reply :D, i dont think console gaming can come anywhere close to pc gaming either, i end up buying consoles because of their controllers and exclusive titles..Now regarding my gpu i have two 560 ti..and i think il go with your opinion on 3d gaming, now i went through the spec sheets of both the monitors u mentioned, it says that the asus has 5 ms and dell has 8ms in response time, i saw many people recommending a minimum of 2ms for gaming monitors, should i ignore that and just go for one of these ? and if so, where can i find them ?
I wanted to get them and was ready to buy but for some reason a while back i changed my mind the monitors are quite expensive
playing with 2 monitors is not that much of fun i think ;/ confuses you :P never tried it.. i have a second screen but thats just for monitoring stuff and chating while i watch movies + it looks cool :D
120 MHz gives you 120 FPS which feels more smooth/faster for some not everyone can see it
1440P give you 1,6 million pixels more then 1080P or 80% more which makes games look so much better
you have in 1440p these 2 choices the best of the best

you see i was in the same situation a while back confused between what monitor to choose
there are 2 choices i suggest you should look at personally i dont like 3D neither i recommend them :P
first you should see what gpu's you have and will they be able to support high end monitors or not do you have SLI's or single GPU ? and what gpu do you have
the first choice you have is 1440p 60hz and the second is 120Hz 1080p
both are different and no you cannot get a 1440p 120Hz monitor
if you go for 1440p you will need a pretty strong GPU and if you go for 120Hz i don't think you will need either

watercooled it already but the whole loop is on one radiator and is affecting the cpu temps so i already tried to squeeze another 240 rad and a pump but couldnt do it because of the tight turns and fittings :P will have to rearrange the whole loop :D not anytime soon feeling lazy haha :P

ouyahama i doubt you will find a thermal paste here :P a good one i guess but even if you get cheap ones there isnt alot of temperature difference if you are not overclocking extremely get any thermal compound but only the silver/gray ones not the white ones if you can buy online i recommend arctic cooling just google and you will find :)
or check in tornado computers maybe they have it there :)

@darkol I could've i saw a chart with nvidia logo on it 1 year ago depecting the next gen cards like the 700 series to have a completely different gpu architecture which will have twice the performance of current generation card's. this is a major let down for me, looks like mastermas did right ordering the titan.
