pay extra for garlic sauce in papa Jones
Yesterday gone to papa Jones @ Salwa road and ordered meal for 3 Package.Served with one garlic sauce(5ml) for 3 people.Of courese not enough with Large Pizza;asked for another one .When the bill came they charged for the extra garlic sauce. So we asked and they told whether it iS Small,Mediam or Large Pizza we will get one 5ml sauce only.LOLZ.
Even the cheese sticks which was suppose to be a starter came after the Pizza. The employes are always rude too.But the Pizza is Yum.
inshalla i will try this Beilla
Thanks, but where is Mega Mart? (Sorry, I'm still a bit dorientated here)
I have to try Biella and Ciao now. Yummy! :)
Have you tried the pizza at Market (W Hotel)? Hear it's good. I had dinner and a brunch there once, and the general quality was good.
I had a slice (just because I was intrigued by the menu) from one of these pizza-by-slice places at the mall near Grand Regency, Al Sadd. I'm not sure of the name, it has a Costa Cafe outside - Centre Point, maybe?
Anyway, there's this kiosk inside next to Costa that is pretty authentic in terms of menu, and was pretty darn good the one time I tried. They told me it's run by a Sicilian.
However, I hope they aren't as inconsistent as most other places :-/
Have to go back to eat more! :)
I've had Ciao on many occasions, It is a great place but they put very little sauce on their margaritta ;p..However, their customer service is amazing.
Biella at the mall is good, probably a bit better than Ciao, they do have fresh Mozzerella on one of their pizza.
I also Heard that Fabio's pizza is good on azazia road.. but the source i heard from is not very trusted in food lol..I will try it this week.
Chocaholic, Get your buffalo Mozerella from Mega Mart.. it really is very fresh and tastes superb.
Thanks! Thought that place was closed down.
Where in Italy are you? Oh my, I wish I'd known. And I wish the rules about what you can bring in here were...er...more flexible :)
I will becoming begrudgingly tomorrow... the food (meat, cheese, breads, pastas, OMG, just everything) is just to die for... and I am totally in love with Italy:-)
try Ciao on Salwa Road... am biased, I suppose, cause they are good friends and am currently visiting with their family in Italy:-)
I had some buffalo mozzarella here from a very good brand that I know.
It was all mushed up and the taste far diminished :(
It's the transportation, handling, storage, etc. at fault in this case. Mozzarella doesn't take well to mishandling :)
nothing beats a home made thin crust with some fresh buffalo mozzerella
mamamiaaa
Biella, the restaurant - in City Centre. I also think there's one in Landmark.
Biella, the city - in Italy.
where is this Beilla?
No worries ;)
Interesting.
Okay, thanks I will!
(You know, it's funny - Biella is a town just outside the one we live in :))
Try Biella ;)
Well, I revise my last comment - I just remembered...the day after we got here, I had a pretty good pizza at Lo Spaghetto in Al Sadd.
And I hear that they make good pizza at the 'Market' in W Hotel.
Jeez, I'm hungry for a good pizza now! Haven't found one 'real' pizza yet in Doha :(
if i want to rate it will be like this:
papa johns
pizza hut
dominos pizza
yellow cab.
the najma restaurants :P
yeah papa jone or papa johns?i like their pizza but my husband was not satisfied at all,we often munch over yellow cab pizza..i love darla!
Tried it once or twice, but I wasn't satisfied with their customer service nor the food.
the food is inexpensive compared to Dominos or Pizza Hut, but I maybe wrong.
But the pizza goes well with beer... :P
Yes, an 'authentic' pizza would never stoop to allowing sauces to contaminate it :)
Lol!
i think they want to save the public and environment from our breaths
pizza with garlic sauce? first time i hear this lol
I'v tried pizza with Ketchup..
Unless if the pizza is authentic and very well made, it is ok to mix it and mask the flavor i guess ;)
if they bottled their garlic sauce i'd drink it instead of beer.
papa jone....wow i like it,Pizza with garlic sauce. i feel hungry.weeeeee
papa jones has good pizza n garlic sauce has so much oil.
I relate to that... the service is extremely rude and unprofessional... and they always mix up orders...
but there pizza is so yummmm...
Pizza with garlic sauce?! Yuck!!!
