Hi,

Jus need an advice from all.
Yesterday i went with my hubby n my baby to Royal Garden Indian restaurant for dinner.
We had gud time there and the moment we finished our main course, my hubby was not comfortable n i cud smell something wrong with him.The rumali roti that i had was not fully cooked and after eating the cooked portions, i found that n we returned the rest.Still he was not ok.Back home n we slept. All of a sudden by 1:30 AM,i woke up due to acidity n was totally suffering.Had some water, walked for few min n sat for sometime n came back to bed.Again by 5:00 in the morning, i woke up as something was seriously wrong in my stomach n went rushing to the toilet n vomited everything.I was totally dehydrated by then n i cud sence that its becouse of some rotten garlic or veg used.My husband still having the same problems but nothing to my child since he din't have the veg seek kabab that we had.So may be thats the culprit.

Now what can be done.We are better now but still wud not indulge eating anymore in Royal garden. How can we take an action abt them since this is a pure Food poisioning case.Since we took immediate first aid , we r better or else it would have been worst after vomiting for 6 times from morning.

Any consumer protection or food n nutrition dept can advise me how to go abt it?

Thanks in advance.

I am really happy that there are gud hearts to help people in distress.

I'll definetly log a complaint and atleast if there r few people who gets benefitted by this, iam happy.

Being a mom, iam really concerned abt the outside food and i hope we get gud quality hotels here esp for vegeterains.

Hi,

If you have time and energy, you can lodge the complaints against this restaurant with the municipality and they will take them to task. Good thing you have done to bring this incidence in QL ,so that we are all aware of this restaurant. Thanks.

From everything I've ever seen, Indians have no sense of hygiene whatsoever. I wouldn't trust ANY Indian restaurant to serve anything that's clean and/or fresh. If they can save a few riyals by not throwing out old, rotten food they will.

I hope you can sue the restaurant and in the very least get them shutdown and thrown out of the country. Disgusting!

Thnks for ur response but we don't take mushrooms n we specifically told them to delete mushroom.

Thou its not a severe poisioning, we cannot take chances. If my child had it, then i can't imagine it.

If you are sure that the poisoning is from the vegetable kabab it could be from some poisonous mushrooms used in it. However I feel that it was not a very severe poisoning. I think you should complain the issue to Municipality Office or in the Consumer Complaints Department but not sure exactly. Wait for other readers to comment.
