UKs best retailer for clothing and household goods is coming to the Middle east with stores opening in Qatar, Dubai, Abu Dhabi and eventually everywhere!

who makes up the prices. I bought a top in M&S the other day and it was cheaper than the UK price.

Do you think they see the Euro and convert that and not the pound?

My thoughts are my own, but I doubt my Mum would agree with some of them.

We need a primark here in ME though. Marks and debenhams have wildly inflated rial proces. Most of the time they have pulled off the UK price but you can find them.

Britexpat.. most of the British clothing outlets like M&S BHS, Next, Topman etc.. Have UK prices in pounds and Qatari Riyals on the same label.. Amazing what exchange rate they us. For example 15 quid item which should be around QR100 is selling at over QR200. I though this place was tax free??

So the conclusion is that the prices are much higher here than in the UK.. No wonder all the Qataris shop in Oxford street. Their popular shops are Primark, H&M etc ..lol

It all depends if the prices are kept similar to the UK..

last week I saw an item in Marks priced at 350 QR, whereas I'd seen it on sale in London for 15 pounds..
