Laptops- is is better to buy it in the UK or Doha?
Hi there
I was wondering if laptops are competitively priced in Doha vs the UK. I know that there are some tax allowances in Qatar and I was thinking that because of that prices are better.
Bottomline is should I buy a laptop from the UK before going to Qatar or wait till I get there

Well as I understood from some of my friends who were in the UK. They told me that they had to buy additional warranty coverage so it can be repaired here. It took ages to repair eventhough, coz the main country that the laptop was bought from should be contacted, and the parts have to be obtained from there. i advise you to come here, buy it from here, and avoid all taxes and extra coverage warranties...

1. Think like this, if you are gonna be in qatar in a few weeks and be
here for a couple of months or longer, why should you buy it in UK?.
2. Though you have international warranty, it may be a long
process to get your laptop done in here if there's any technical
problem. Isn't it more confortable when you buy it in QATAR.
