Specification

1、My Friends

For the first time using the phone, you must enter the menu [Child’s Safety] à [Guardian setting] to set the phone numbers of the guardians, then you can add friend’s information.

Add a friend

Press “Hotkey 3” then input the phone number of friend. The default name is “Friend”. Parent can send a command message to change the friend’s name. Refer to “QUICK USE” about the command “Rename the friend’s name ”.
You can also use the guardians’ phone to send a command message to the child’s phone for adding the friend’s name and phone number directly. Refer to “QUICK USE” about the command “Add a friend’s phone number”.

Call friend

Enter [My Friends], press “Up/down key” to choose the friend you want to call, press “Dialing key” to call out. Only when the unit is in the service area, this function is available.

Delete a friend

In [My Friends] list, press “Up/down key” to scroll to the desired number, then press “Hotkey 1” and “Dialing key” to delete it.
If you want to delete all numbers, press “Hotkey 2” and then “Dialing key” to confirm.
NOTE：

The Add & Delete function is available in Parents Mode only.

The Max. numbers can be stored is 50.

In Child Mode, the phone will automatically reject the incoming call and the SMS that the number is not stored in [My Friends] list.

The first 4 phone numbers in [My Friends] are important, they could be dialed by pressing the four number keys directly. And the emergency call also call the four phone numbers, please be cautions to add.

2、My Message

This function is used for writing and sending a message. But you just can send the message to the phone numbers that stored in [My Friends] only.
Also you can view the messages you received or you already sent.

Writing and sending a message

Select the menu [Write message] to enter:

It shows “Who?” in the screen, press “Dialing key” to show the phone number list, press “Up/down key” to scroll to the desired number and press “Dialing key” to confirm.

When you see the sentence ”what?” in the screen, press “Dialing key” and then “Up/down key” to choose the message, press “Dialing key” to confirm.

Make sure the message already ok, press “Dialing key” to send out.

Received message

Read the new message
When you receive a new message, you hear a message alert tone you set and the number of new messages as well as are shown in standby screen, press “Dialing key” to access the list and select one to read.
Read received message
Select the menu [Read message] to enter, you can see all received messages, press “Up/down key” to select one, and then press “Dialing key” to read the detail information.
Delete received message
Press “Hotkey 1” and then “Dialing key” to delete a message.
Press “Hotkey 2” and then “Dialing key” to delete all messages,

Sent message

Read sent message
Select the menu [Outbox] to enter all sent message will be shown, the Max. number of messages is 50. Press “Up/down key” to select one, and then press “Dialing key” to read the detail information.
Delete sent message
Press “Hotkey 1” and then “Dialing key” to delete a message.
Press “Hotkey 2” and then “Dialing key” to delete all messages,

Phrase

It stores some phrases in common use, you can directly select them for sending message. Also you can add or erase the phrase, the Max. of phrase that can be saved is 50.
Read a phrase
In the phrase list, press “Up/down key” to select, press “Dialing key” to read.
Add a phrase
You can add a phrase by sending a message, please refer to “QUICK USE” about the command “Add the common SMS”.
Delete phrase
In the phrase list, press “Up/down key” to scroll to the desired phrase, then press “Hotkey 1” and “dialing key” to erase it.
If you want to delete all phrases, press “Hotkey 2” and then “Dialing key” to confirm.
NOTE：The delete function is available in Parents Mode only.

3、Calls History

This function shows you the last 10 phone numbers for each missed call, answered call and dialed call.
View the detail information about the call
In the call list, press “Up/down key” to select the record, the detail information about time and date would appear when the cursor locate each record, if you want to know how long this calling is last for, press “Dialing key” to review the detail, and at the screen, you can press “Dialing key” to call the number.
Erase call lists
In the call list, press “Up/down key” to scroll to the desired number, then press “Hotkey 1” and “Dialing key” to erase it.
If you want to delete all numbers, press “Hotkey 2” and then “Dialing key” to confirm.

4、Telephone

Calling function only can be used in the service area.

Input number to call

This function is available in the Parents Mode only.
Press “Up/down key” to select the number or symbol, press “Help key” to confirm the number, and then press “Dialing key” to make a call.

Answer a call / reject a call

To answer a call, press “Dialing key”. To reject a call, press “Hang up key”.
Press “Hang up key” to hang up during answer a call,
Press “Dialing key” to switch the hand free function ON or OFF during answer a call,
NOTE：
This phone have the function to guard against the radiation, when the keyboard LED shining frequently, it means the radiation is strong, suggest you get the phone away from your brain as far as possible, in order to reduce the radiation, suggest you use the hand free function during talking-time.

5、Child’s Safety

Guardians Setting

The guardians’ phone can remote operate the child’s phone. Suggest parents to be the guardians.

In standby screen, select the menu [Child’s Safety] by pressing the “Up/down key” and enter by pressing the “Dialing key”.

Enter [Guardian setting] by pressing the “Dialing key”.

Select “Guardian 1” or “Guardian 2” to enter.

Input the corresponding guardian’s phone number.

For inputting the phone number, press “Up/down key” to move the cursor, pressing “Help key” to confirm the number.

After inputted all the numbers, press “Dialing key” to save.

For changing the guardian’s phone number, select “Guardian 1” or “Guardian 2” that you want to change, then press “Hotkey 1”, the pop up window “Delete?” will show, press “Dialing key” to confirm the deletion, after that input the new guardian’s phone number.
NOTE：

The guardians’ phone must can receive the message normally.

The auto generated message, such as grabbed, child arrived somewhere etc, will send to“Guardian 1”.

Defend Settings

Once the phone is lost, if other person inserts a new SIM card into the phone, the phone will send you a message automatically, then you can know the person’s phone number.
Activate the Setting
Enter the menu: Defend Settings> status, select ON, press “Dialing key” to confirm.
Set Auto Warning
Once this function is set ON, when other person insert a new SIM card into this phone, the screen would appear a warning message.
Lock the phone
Once child’s phone is lost, you can lock the phone by sending a message, so that the other person can’t use it, please refer to “QUICK USE” about the command “Lock up phone”.
NOTE：The command message should send to the phone number that the person currently illegal used.

Poweroff Set in Child Mode

If choose “With password”, the child must input the password to turn off the phone in child mode. This function is to avoid the child to turn off the unit unawares or purposely.
NOTE：If the child will take airplane alone, please set it to be “Without password” or enter parent mode.

Parents Monitor

You can switch the child’s phone to be sensitive microphone mode by sending a message with the guardians’ phone, then the child’s phone will call you automatically, and during you answer the call, you can hear the voice from the child’s environment clearer and know where your child is and what they are doing.
Start monitoring
Use the guardians’ phone to edit a message about monitoring, please refer to “QUICK USE” about the command “Startup monitor”. If your message is successfully sent, the child’s phone would feedback a call to guardian, at this moment you just need to answer the call to start monitoring.
End monitoring
Hang up the call to finish the monitoring.
Or the monitoring can be interrupted if the child presses any key.
NOTE：The monitoring function doesn’t display in the function menu.

Remote Power off

Use the guardians’ phone to send a message about power off, please refer to “QUICK USE” about the command “Power off”. If your message is successfully sent, the child’s phone would be power off immediately.

6、Parent Setting

Set Time

Modify the time
Use “Dialing key” to move the cursor on the time number, adjust the time by pressing “Up/down key”, and adjust the am and pm mode accordingly. Press “Hang up key” then “Dialing key” to save the setting.
Time format
Press “Up/down key” to select the time format. Press “Dialing key” to save the setting.

Set Date

Refer to Set Time.

Call Time Limit

Long talk-time is bad for your child’s heath, and bring you a considerable expense, to avoid this you can set talk-time limit for each call.
Enter the menu [Call Time Limit], you can choose the desired time and press “Dialing key” to confirm.

Schedule Power on

If the status of Auto Power on is ON, the phone will auto turn on when the setting time is reached.
NOTE:
Please check it before going aboard and make sure the status is OFF.

Schedule Power off

If the status of Auto Power off is ON, the phone will auto turn off when the setting time is reached.
NOTE：The phone will not auto power off during talk-time until end the call.

Change Password

The default password is “1234”, you can change the password as below:
Use ”Up/down key” on the side of the unit to select the number, press “Help key” to confirm the selection, press “Hotkey 1” to delete the single number or press “Hotkey 2” to clear all numbers, press “Dialing key” to confirm.
NOTE：

Please remember or keep your password properly.

If forget the password, please go to the service agency with related certificate and warranty card for help.

SMS Service Center

When insert a new SIM card, if can’t send message normally, it might be the binding SMS center number is not correct, you can set it again here, Please contact the local network operator for the binding number you need input.

Restore default

You can reset all settings to be the factory settings, for this you need the password.
NOTE：
All the user data will be cleared and can’t be recovered, the password will be recovered to be “1234”. Please be cautious to use it.

7、Forbidden in class

You can manage the time that when the communication functions are forbidden, You can set 8 periods of time for 1 day to manage the phone, once the time is limited to use the phone, any message or calling function operation would not available. When the forbidden time is over, there is alert tone or text message for all the missed call and new messages.
Set the period of time
Enter the menu: Hidden Time, you can set the forbidden time according to School day, Saturday and Sunday.

School day is from Monday to Friday, You can set the time for School day, Saturday & Sunday separately.

In the class list, there are 8 period of time for each day, you can set the start time and end time for each period. A tick (√) will show if the time set is valid, or else a cross (×) will show. If the start time and end time is the same, then the time set is invalid.

Enter the selected period, press “Up/down key” to adjust the time. To move the cursor, press “Dialing key”. Press “Hang up key” after all the time set is OK. When the pop up message “Save Settings?” show, press “Dialing key” to confirm.

Open the function of forbidden in class
There are 2 ways to open this function:

Open it in the phone

Enter the menu: Forbidden in Class > Status, set ON, press “Dialing key” for confirm.

Open it with a short message

Use the guardians’ phone to write a message about setting the status, please refer to “QUICK USE” about the command “Set forbidden in class ON”.

Send the message to the child’s phone;

After the setting is succeed, you would receive a message replied from your child’s phone.

Close the function of forbidden in class
The operation is the same as Open the function of forbidden in class, but the status should be set OFF.
You can also close the function with a short message, please refer to “QUICK USE” about the command “Set forbidden in class OFF”.

8、Child’s position

For the position that the child often to be, parent can collect and save these position data, then you can inquiry if the child is at these position with sending a command message. The max. of position data is 6.
Analyze Set
We have three ways to collect and analyze the position data of each area.

Auto collect the position data in the set period of time

If you are sure that the child will be somewhere at a specific period of time with his phone. Then, select the corresponding area number and set the period of time. When it reaches the time, the child’s phone will auto collect the position data. After the collecting finished, the time set will be auto cleared.

Hand collect the position data

When the phone is at the position that you want to collect the position data, enter the area list and select the corresponding area, (√ means that the position data of this area already exist), press “Hotkey 2” to collect more data with the old data kept. Press “Hotkey 3” to clear all existed data and then collect.
Press “Dialing key” after 5 minutes, the message “Save or not” will show, press “Dialing key” again to save.
Press “Hotkey 1” to directly delete the existed position data of this area.

Remote collect the position data

Parent can send a command message with the guardians’ phone to the child’s phone, the child’s phone will collect the current position data immediately. Please refer to ‘Quick Use” about the command “Remote position data collection”.
NOTE：

The position data accuracy depends on the situation of GSM network, normally the error is between 50-300 meters.

The accuracy of the position inquiry can not reach 100% because of the wireless disturbance, the less time of position data collection, or the phone is out of service. But if you collect the position data several times with one area, the accuracy can reach 90%.

Schedule Notify
When it reaches the set time, the child’s phone will auto send a current position message to “Guardian 1”. The max. of notify time you can set is 3.
Select time 1/2/3 and ON to enter the time set layout. Press “Dialing key” to move the cursor, press “Up/down key” to adjust the time. After finished the setting, press “Hang up key” then “Dialing key” to save.
Arrived Notify
For the area that already have the position data, you can set message notify once the child entered this area.
Remote inquiry the child current postion
Please refer to “Quick use” about the command “Remote position inquiry”.
Rename the position
Please refer to “Quick use” about the command “Rename the position area”.

9、My Ringtone

When you have an incoming call or receive a message, you can set the phone ring or keep silence. You also can select the style and volume of the ring.
Ring Mode
You can set the Ring tone, Alert style and Ring Volume for incoming call and SMS separately.
Mute Mode
When ON is selected, all incoming call alert, message alert, key tone and power on/off are mute.
Personalized Caller Ring
For the first four numbers in [My Friends], you can select different rings to represent each number, When received the incoming call from this four numbers, the corresponding ring can be heard.
NOTE：All the functions in chapter 3 are available in the Parents Mode only.

10. Tools

Alarm

Totally you can set 4 alarm clocks. After setting, the icon of alarm would appear in the status bar.
If you want to delete one alarm clock, enter the menu: Alarm Status, set OFF and press “Dialing key”.
When the bell is ringing, you just need to press “Hang up key” to stop it.

Stopwatch

To start, press “Dialing key”.

To pause, press “Dialing key” again.

To continue, press “Dialing key” again,

To clear, just press “Hang up key”.
