And it happened with Lulu and Carrefour! Mixing of meat happens in Doha too. So never buy the packed meat trays. Always go for fresh meat.

what if they do the same with Rice, Wheat or Bread? So much for their advertisements! I had an experiece with one of the mentioned hypermarkets in Doha. When one day I was about to pick up a tray of meat that was on the shelf, a salesman from the hypermarket walked past me saying in hushed voice not to take that. When I turned around, he was gone. I decided to not to take that meat. Couple of weeks later I met him again in the hypermarket and asked him why he said that? And he replied, the meat packed and kept are always mixed and the expiry dates are changed for a few days!
