Veg in Asha's suck.....

There are only 2 great Pure Veg Restaurants in Doha.

1. Aryas....tried it and its good. Not on par with any Udipi restaurants in India...but good.

Aryas(near almeera, muntaza & jaidah flyover) - Good only for south indian dinner.

2. Shalimar, not yet tried it....but vegies swear by it.

Shalimaar(near crazy signal kebab king) - excellent for dinner and north indian dishes.

But other Indian restaurants do make Veg & Non-veg and are quite good too....But then they cook non-veg in the same vessels that is used to cook veg. (It could be a big issue to some Indians).

Asha's in Villagio, the Indian restaurant has a fantastic vegetarian menu, I have been there many times. Also, the Indian section in the Ramada downstairs has a vegetarian menu. Both have excellent quality food and great customer service. In Asha's, the Taal Dak (sorry about spelling) is amazing!
