When I was in Doha back in the 80's there was this popular restaurant that only sold foule and hummus. We used to call it مطعم فول (mat'am foule)
They had the best hummus in the universe!! and always busy.

Does anyone know if it still exists, where? or gone or moved?

so there are two locations? ... one in Souq Waqif ... where is the other one (original one)?

They should get a website, heck I'll do it for a free round of foule/hummus

Yes, I'm sure that you're talking about Beirut Restaurant. It's the best joint for Foule and Hummus.

Man, I like you're style. You're old school :-)

If it is Beirut restaurant that you mean , They moved to sook waqif, they are located at the beginning of the street with all the restaurants and coffee shops.

they didn't sell anything else other than foule and hummus.

That's all they sold and it was the best.

You had three choices:

1- foule only

2- hummus only

3- foule and hummus in one plate

They would literally throw the plate in front of you with cut onions, two slices of pita bread, and a glass of Pepsi.

dang, this is making me hungry :)

yes, that's the one, they used to be open really early.

It's been 20 years ... I miss it.

It would be a bummer if I can't find it.
