FedEx Delivery - Pathetic

My goodness, how pathetic could a service by renowned FedEx get!! Package delivery is a nightmare, you endup calling the FedEx to deliver a package (already in Doha ready for delivery) atleast 9 times and still no response. and moreover they also inform no driver available to deliver, even after two days!!, comeon :-), funny and annoying. Customer service is the best of all, they ask you to hold indefinitely and hangup, very consistent in that front.
DHL seems to be a better service when compared with FedEx, thats I can say for sure.

Please share your experience with FedEx or other Express service!!

i thought FEDEX is reliable and will deliver fast but i was wrong...i sent a b-day gift and of course paid a lot just to deliver it on time but until now they didn't deliver it,i tracked it down and still my b-day gift is sleeping in their office for 4days now perhaps they are waiting for Christmas eve or new years eve to deliver it..what's the used?my friend called how many times but no answer, then when she called again finally one id**ts answer and ask about the full details of the receiver which is already written in the package..stupid!and they promised to call the person(receiver) but they never did..dunno what's on their mind?? i will never send anything again through FED-aches nor will recommend it to a friend.........NEVER!

I've got a package which I sent thru Fed-aches. It was supposed to go to Cyprus.. Hollah! It was sent to Oman.. weird??? 1 week passed they've called me and said, it was a mistake from their Dubai branch, and now they are doing the necessary measures so it could be sent to SYRIA! It's unbelievable! Useless, brainless guys.. finally they were able to send it to Cyprus plus i've got the money back due to their stupidity..

I use Easyshop and i pick my packages (anyways i have to, as i need to pay) which is much better. but atleast if FedEx could give that option and inform where to pick it up from. they keep giving misleading info, as they are lost more than the customers. they dont know where the package is, at one time its out for delivery after sometime its still in the office.. so even picking up isnt an option left to choice!!.

I wish customer service is a word they can find somewhere in a corner of their operation.

This isnt first time with me.. this is thrid time in sequence. they hold the package atleast for three days in Doha and then decide to deliver, I fail to understand their strategy. are they consolidating package deliver for a particular area in small Doha????.

Same with UPS too, my two day shipment document from London did arrive in Doha as promised,, but it took full 6 days for them to deliver, nor gave me an option (i offered) to collect it myself, :-(. annoying, why in this part of world such a service for premium cost!!

Used FedEx and TNT at least a dozen times in last 10 months...no problem so far. Fully satisfied with their service.

DHL guys don't even answer the phone.. They don't even make an excuse of driver unavailability.. I have to call from my friend's mobile to get them to answer.. Once they see it's me again, they tell me that they will get back to me and then disappear..

Once DHL delivered a very very urgent package in 30 days.. Surely Fedex isn't that bad.
