I was under the impression that the fruit and vegetable market in Mamoura was no longer open to the public. There's no real demand for fruit and vegetables in Qatar. People here prefer Hardees and majboos.
There are no major farms here. The few farms that are here don't produce much. Hence there is no such demand for Farmers market where you can take you fresh produce to sell.

Best to go to the wholesale market
have you tried the veggie market in Mamoura area...... some nice fruit and veg there.
