Fake Mileage on selling car

Dear QL members,

Please beware that there are soo many cars sellers are cheating buyers by changing speedometer in order to reduce the mileage. As I have experienced recently, I sold my car Nissan Xtrial 2002 Model (plate no. 238473, Green color) when its mileage was above 210,000km and now that car is available for sale in QL with 106,000km!!! Please share if anyone has the same incidents… Take care…

to reduce the mileage on a digital display - put the car on jacks, turn the engine on and put the car in reverse, place a stone on the accelerator and watch the mileage tick away! :0P

Just wondrin, how can they alter those digital displays? The old analog ones, you can turn back, but these new ones... how?
