cute ideas....... it is a friend that is looking for a quick necklace hanger system...here is something I did for myself......
got a picture frame, put fabric in the backing part, added hooks and have all my necklaces hanging from the hooks......a but like your idea for earrings....functional wall art :-)
I've seen the manequins, but they are for display only. I have used the robe hangers (even the accordian type that stretch out) to hang my necklaces. You can probably find some more decorative robe hangars that would display nicely.
For earrings, I've gotten door/window screen material and framed it. You can hang your earrings from the various holes and it makes a great art display. A piece of framed lace works well also.
Just some fun projects in case you don't find your manequin.

My wife uses a 'pasta hanger' from Tavola to hang her necklaces on. Wooden thing with lots of poles sticking out. Seems to do the job.

Speaking of which, has anyone come across a proper mini mannequin one can hand jewellery on? Not those little wire girls, but a proper mannequin form or something with a long pole to slip necklaces on?

Good info, eas thinking of dropping by anyway as I usually get uniquew stuff there for present ...Carissima has nice make up bags and box..my sister in laws was thrilled,..one has even a trolly bag case and really, prices is not so much
