why is it that Dslr cameras here in doha are way too expensive than dslr's in other country? its like more than 10,000 peso difference compared to the Philippines.

than in the philippines.the last time i was in the country it was 46000 pesos, here its about 3000 qr in carrefour. however, i do not know the price in hidalgo (they say that you can find the cheapest price range there compare with malls or other shops in GMA)

most often find better deals online than in a store, regardless of geographical location. Only problem with that is you don't get a chance to hold the lens/body/flash and see if it's actually something you want.

with adorama.com or amazon.com, prices are way lower than here... though you have to have a US address for shipping and someone from US to send it to you here... you can check aramex.com, they do shipments and provide US and UK address
