Difference between Carrefour and others

As I customer , I have experienced there is a difference between Carrefour customer care and other shopping mall customer care, the Carrefour will spend lot of time to teach us their company policy instead of supporting us, in case others, they will support us as possible instead of wasting time for lot of arguments and negotiation. Does anyone disagree with it???

C4's support and service do relatively badly yes. At least half of the time they are willing to exchange an item up to and sometime's past the Policy dates. Lulu's has been recommended here, but from years of experience and direct conversations (even arguments) with their managers I've found that they have ZERO support for electronics and furnishings purchased in their stores. ANY and ALL supposed warranties for their products do not exist in Qatar (but they have said are valid in the UAE or elsewhere). The rare ones that come with full International Warranties are usually Japanese-made products.

Lulus also has only a 5-day through 12-day (seems to vary) Policy on items, in some cases only 4 days or if opened NONE at all (and you have to seriously argue for them to exchange a faulty product that was opened). One cannot test an unopened product, even at the store...

At least at C4 most of their products come with the default 1-year warranties and an option to purchase an extended warranty. Though strangely the extended warranty sometimes starts the same day as the purchase, which makes no sense, though C4's management claims this is because it is a LOCAL warranty and not applicable in any other country C4 operates.

C4 will often accept an opened product missing items, and immediately return it to the floor for some poor shopper to purchase and lose time over in trying to return it. Not the best Policy to keep customers content...

LuLu RULES! No, seriously, it does!

The only thing I'd complain about is their bread, it's truly awful! I wish they would get better bread...which, coincidentally, is the best in Carrefour, at least the baguette is. Which is pretty much the only thing I buy there.

Some friends got food poisoning from carrefour lamb chops. C4 is expensive and I don't know how many times I have just ditched my trolly full of stuff and walked out because only 3 of the 50 counters are open, and there are lines of people up the isles waiting to go through the checkout. Ahhh lulu, always someone there to take your money quickly. Rule number one in a business like that; don't give the customers time to think at the point of sale. They will either put stuff back that they don't need or walk out all together.

MN - for once i think we are in agreement - i know who you mean. I like Mega Mart but it is soooo pricey, why can't there be something in between the 2, this would be a good business opportunity for someone. Approach any of the leading s/markets in UK and ask to partner up. ANY of them would do, they are all decent compared to C4.

it is not just C4 here either, I have been to C4's in europe and they are pretty rubbish there too.

I am truly at a loss to understand why we don't have any decent supermarkets here - if someone can enlighten me I would be very grateful
