Does anyone have a good idea when stores in Qatar (Salam, Carrefour, etc.) will get the new Canon G10? I am continually being told that it will be a week or two, but never a hard date. I am considering ordering it online from the U.S. and shipping it as I have a deadline for a trip coming up soon.

I've been hearing a lot about this CANON G10. whats with this camera that previous CANON models doesn't have? just curious. im stubborn today. i dont wanna google or anything. if anybody knows, u r most welcome to share

Qatarbound ... A newer model to G10 has been launched in US , Japan and singapore. I checkd with salam, they are expecting it only by april 2009..LOL

10 MP 20X zoom .. Google it
