Decided to buy the Nissan Altima Sedan 2009 3.5 v6 Full Options.
It costs 110,000 QRs..
How much do u think the interest through bank will increase the price to..?! (my bank is Qatar International Islamic Bank)
if i want installments for like 3 years or 3 & half years or let's say 4 years..
will the interest vary? without Down Payment..
.
Do u think i'll get a better offer from other banks..?!
.
please advice.

smoke, i am not sure about the personal loan, but i doubt it...

however, check with ur bank.

guys, really, loans of any kind, it is a tricky thing sometimes- read the contract before u sign anything.

from my own experience i know that people never read those in here.

If you're looking for a problem, you're probably gonna find one.

OMG irrysa i didnt know this!! seriously why should one pay interest for another say 3 yrs when he can settle the loan amount after one year? or is there a difference between personal loan and car loan? coz i had taken a personal loan.

charan, every bank can buy ur loan from the other bank.

but ur bank will still ask u to pay the full amount, coz this is what u have agreed on.

in another words, they make sure to get their profit.

galloper, every bank must give u all these details, even over the phone. it comes instantly on their calculation sheet.

Smoke, Charan is right. some banks ask u to pay the whole thing.

normally, they cannot take more than 1% extra. but some banks will ask u to pay the whole amount.

guys, remember that when u buy the car on loan and READ THE CONTRACT!!

bank sites (web pages) give ideas on the rate/interest scale, and even calculators to estimate the final ammount to be paid for a credit/loan. QNB for example can provide you with the monhly installments detail, and the final ammount to be repaid to the bank on a loan.

Best of luck.

irrysa - I obtained QR 58,000 and pay back QR 72,480 over the 4 years (48 installements). but I wanted to settle the whole thing by paying cash now but they insist that I pay total QR 72,480 even if I settle the loan now :(

Be aware that the Nissan has a low resale value, even though it is a good car..Toyota or Honda will have more resale value..

"how the hell can i ask them if there's a better bank than them..?!?!?!"

Check with all the banks you are interested in or check with the Nissan sales rep. he will point you at the right direction.

The Best answer to your question will come from the concerned bank itself. kindly refer to them instead of spoon feeding.
