I Paid 900 for Corolla all glasses Including back and windshield.

Windshield and Back : 20% Darker.

front side glasses : 30%

rear Glasses : 100% darker.

What is the maximum legal percentage of tint shading allowed, if I want to tint my own car windows and not require a police permit? Is it 20 percent?

yesterday, June 4, 2014, i just have my passenger car fixed with Nano Window Film. It was great at a very affordable price of only 900 QR using Nano Ceramic films from USA. Their shop is located in Al Muhaither St. in Al Rayyan. After using my car today, the heat rejection is excellent and having a 20% shades on all of my window glass. No need police permit as the color shade is just normal and you can still see the people inside the car. It is comparable to those high-priced tints of Titanium, Tornado, Police & others. So why pay a higher price, if they're were all using the same materials from USA? Call me and i will guide you the way...33721364.

Today I did my car at Nanofilm in Al Rayyan area, very good service at affordable price. I tinted my Honda pilot for 1100 QR.

would be interesting to find out from fellow QLers as to the most used film - given that the heat is descending in all its brilliant shades of yellow's :P

I just bought a new Kia Sorento last week, and the dealer asked me to tint the windows or not. I paid QR1500 for all windows. Done at Yellow Hat, just near the Kia showroom al sadd. I'm not sure what brand it is but those tint films are really doing their job very well!

Is pretty good and accepted by the Traffic Police on all windows. NB a solar protection film does not need to be dark to work. Many brands are 'legal' here. Not only do they keep the inside temperature down (slightly - if you've got a black car you'll still bake) but they protect the dashboard and leather seats from cracking caused by the sun.

I have a 2 door, 2 seater car. the only glass is front rear and the driver and passenger doors. can i tint any of them to reduce the UV and the heat. or is it against the law to do so?
