Best Bang for buck 4x4 SUV in Doha

Hello All:
I am looking to buy a 4x4 with adequate power on road in Doha.
My budget is not more than QR.110,000 for a new one and QR.85,000 for a used one.
Basic criterias that I want to stick with are:
1. It should have a good resale value in other words it should be Japanese.
2. It should be very good bang for the buck.
3. I can be flexible on 1. but not on 2.
4. It should be atleast 6 cylnder ofcourse.
5. It should have atleast 200+bhp.
Please pour in all your advice and suggestions.
Thanks
How is the Pajero for a economical 4x4 for expatriates?
How does its retail compare to the Prado?
Aren't people aware that Proado, being taller than Pajero, is more accident prone?
my friend just bought a second hand Lexus SUV for around 85k from the dealership, u might wanna wait around and check for deals, until then rent one...
Point 1. and 2. above.
1. being the Jap.
2. being good value for money.
My husband and I just signed the paperwork on a 2007 Nissan Pathfinder for 122,000. (V6, 4x4, 300 hp) We wanted a few extras but there was one on the floor for 111,000. Of course you can get it completely decked out for around 140,000. We have owned the Pathfinder before and were very happy with it. The newer models now come with 3 rows of seats which makes it flexible for hauling people, furniture, groceries, etc.
As for the experience at Nissan. We found them to be very responsive and easy to work with.
Good luck
I'd suggest you to slightly up your budget by a notch to say 130,000. Only then I can suggest you to go for a Toyota Prado VX.
1. Yes, its a Jap. Much more than that its a Toyota!
2. Same answer as above. Plus VX comes with full options, such as CD player, coolbox, sunroof, tri a/c zone with dual control and fully automatic.
3. What are you talking about? 1 or 2???
4. Yup it is 6 cylinders
5. 241 BHP
Cheers!
