Authentic Pashminas in Souq Waqif?

Hello! Does anyone know if the 100% Pashmina scarfs/shawls sold in the souqs (Specifically at the Souq Waqif) are authentic? They are beautiful and feel amazing, but I'm curious about the true quality.

There is shop called cashmere next to Bentley showroom opposite to Toya r us...maybe you will find there..

in India we get 100% pashmina..its very expensive...

There's actually no such thing as "100% Pashmina." Pashmina is a blend of silk and cashmere wool, usually 30%/70%. I'd say they are probably not genuine. Check the hotel gift shops and the Kashmiri shops and ask about fiber content.
