They have the same model in Qatar to be more specific it is the FJ Cruiser. Would they refuse to service it since it is not bought locally and it is US specifications.
they will fix it but will charge you as a normall car. you might face difficulty if any US spacified parts need to be changed but they can import it for you but they will be expensive.
Yes, they are more than happy to accept any Toyota; I got my imported Land cruiser serviced two weeks ago. The representative is called Nabeel and the contact number is 5571933. If you want to restore warranty then only you pay QR5000 otherwise regular service is charged.
You have to register the car with the dealer by paying 5000 QR (tey can know whether they sold it or not from their computer system). They will not accept a car which is not sold by them unless it is registered with them first.
But I guess you have a lot of garages outside where you can get the service done without any of this issues.
Definitely YES!!! Toyota Motors Corporation has it own common and specialized genuine parts for each vehicle they are releasing. The Service Center of Toyota Dealers have gone through training on which same strategies and concepts are being discussed. All Toyota Service Advisers, Mechanics, and Painters have their training before taking their posts. So you can assure that they can work out on your problems especially if you give them the exact problem you are encountering on on your car. This is based on true experience with Toyota, but your decision has to make sense on this matter...
They shall not service it. Especially, if you need parts. The part numbers in US do not match with the ones in Qatar. You may buy the parts from somewhere and take them to Toyota for service. Even then, you shall have the worse time of your life. Also, you shall get nothing if you would try to sell the car here. Mainly for the reasons stated above.

Why you bring car from USA .
You paid transport + insurance cost etc..etc... . You could have sold it there & buy here new one . I am just curious to know the reason behind that .

They'd service a Skoda if it had a Toyota badge on it's boot. It's business ... of course they would!
You are right, i don't think they will service it, though it is same car.
it is just a matter of pride.
they will service it but at a higher cost than the one bought here.
