I m looking for buying a used car. I think I ll go for Seat Ibiza or Nissan Tiida or Nissan Sunny. What's your advice?!. Which one is better, and which one has a cheaper sparts pare. Thank you for your advice and suggestions.
BTW Toyota, Mitsubishi and Nissan these days build some of its Economy models in places like Thailand and India, we will see the quality build over the next 3 years and feedback from it. So far all come out nice with the previous recommendation over the years, being MADE IN JAPAN, but not no more! Made in Thailand or Made in India. The High end models are still being produced in Japan.
Toyota and Nissan has best resale value compared to other brands....also less maintenance and fuel efficient......forget Seat, Lancer, Kia which has no resale value and expensive spares...
What's the need to spend any money for a used car in Qatar ............. two days back somebody was asking to scrap his car { for free } ..... he was asking directions to a dump yard .............. if we are able to stop him in time we could get that car for Aziz ............. Zam Zam: Great car. But the OP wants something cheap to run. The Kia goes through tyres and go faster stripes at an alarming rate. Plus the ceramic brake pads are hard to source in Qatar :O(
Corolla, camry, altima, kia cereto or rio, maxima...try looking at the used section of Toyota, you might be able to pick up a good car from there, some of them even comes with warranty. Other than that, I would not recommend others mentioned here. Also, go to German Car Check at Salwa road, they do a decent check than carmaxx.
I know a person who has a 2007 Model Tiida in very good condition. She will be leaving Qatar next month and would selling her car. If you would be interested PM you contact details to me.
If you are looking for cheaper reliable car with decent resale value, go for Tiida, Lancer or Hyundai accent. With a better budget you can go for Lance ex , corolla , civic , elantra and cerato. You can't go wrong with any of the car I mentioned here. Toyota and NISSAN will stand out of the crowd when it comes to resale value in Qatar. Just make sure you check the car from shops likes Carmaxx to get a full report about the car. This small amount of money will help you to get rid of big disasters, as fixing a car in Qatar could be a big hassle

AzizAbdel: The car I had recommended has clocked just 80,000 Kms and has been well-maintained. However, the decision is all yours.

Hi All
Thanks à lot for your help and advices.
According to this I ll go for à Nissan Tiida 2012 or 2013 or a Yaris if I find a good deal. My budget is between 25k to 30k QR.
Thanks to acchabaccha but I ll buy a recent one. It will give less headaches (hopefully).

What about Pink Kia??
Strange isn't it - A certain community in Qatar likes Mitsubishi and Civics - yet most others despise them.
Proof that taste in cars is subjective ....

Forget Lancer as the spare parts are costly and car has a poor resale value.

Forget the Seat Ibiza
