what are the best choise for used cars 4X4 after Toyota and Nissan such as Dodage ,GMC ,Volvo or Volks Wagen what about insurance ,maintenace costs........ext???
You need to be more specific... Best in terms of what?? If you mean a car that can conquer all terrain, other than T&N, Hummer can do this and also some GMC/Chevrolet. If you mean an all rounder (good at many things, but is not necessarily the best), Jeep probably qualifies in this category. If you mean resale value - that's a tough one for me, I'm not a used-car salesmen :-)... etc.
Insurance is calculated based on insured price of the car: original price depreciated over the years. If I'm not mistaken, they always calculate 20% depreciation per year. As for maintenance, I'd owned only Kia and Honda and so far they've not been expensive: my regular service costs range in 400s only. But they were bought brand new, though, so no extraordinary maintenance was done.
Hopefully others will share their thoughts & knowledge.
