Skoda Octavia or Corolla ?

Heya guys, I'm finally 18 and my father is buying a new skoda A5 2009 for him and is leaving me the Corolla 2004, I still get to choose which one to ride, what do you guys think which car I should take ? The 2009 1.6L A/T Tribtonic transmission Octavia, or the 2004 1.8L M/T Corolla, knowing that till now, the Corolla's motor is better than the Octavia's, but the Octavia is alot better in luxury and in comfort.
Ask yourself, what kind of driver you are??
Corrolla with a 1.8 ltr engine and a manual transmission is far more aggressive than a skoda with 1.6 ltr engine and tiptronic transmission! if you like to cruise in comfort and go through lots of traffic, an automatic gear is the answer. If you want to have proper control over your speed and don't mind that extra grunt in power when you need it, then corolla is better... but you better have a good left foot to keep clutching in traffic and lots of patience... manual gears if driven correctly tend to make you more aggressive!
Style wise, both suck! so focus on driving...
corolla definately,it has a better resale in the market,just in case

go for skoda summer will come you will see this car is weak from heat specially when traffic the temp is rising good luck
sell both and get a nice car that u enjoy driving ... both are normal boring cars to drive.
i think its better to start with corolla & then go for skoda , anyways even 2004 corolla is lot more reliable than new model skoda

I suggest you to go for the new car (Skoda Octavia). By the time you ruin this car you will be able to buy one for yourself. Old corolla may not bear the burden of your driving skills as a new young rider.
