Re-registering wife's car

By ljmanders

This might seem like a bit of a strange question but not having had to do this yet I thought a bit of input from the QL's would be very helpful.

I have to re-register my wife's car before the 7th Aug and just wanted to know where the best registration office is to go for this (I heard somewhere that Khalifa Town is open 24 hours?) as well as the location (directions would be appreciated) and just what documentation I need to take with me.

Any feedback appreciated
thanks, LJ

when you say "re-registering"...do u mean "Istimaara" ?

The traffic dept is in Madina Khalifa... which is nearby Landmark Mall and the Passport Office for Immigration.

If you go from Hamad Hospital, after reaching the TV round about, turn left...you will reach the next roundabout called Markhiya R/A. Go further straight.... on the right side , you can see an open ground with lots of vehiccles, who have come for either registration, or traffic offence.

Park on that ground and join the menfolk, who all are marching towards the Traffic Office !!!!!!!
