One of my friend is ready to give me his special plate number for free, he will take my plate number and I will take his. I just want to know how can we exchange the number plates? I know we have to go to the traffic police department. BUT HOW MUCH DO WE HAVE TO PAY FOR THE TRANSFER AND WHAT IS THE PROCEDURE? ARE THERE ANY REQUIRED DOCUMENTS SUCH AS NOC, VEHICLE REGISTRATION OR DRIVING LICENSE COPY TO BE SUBMITTED?

salam 1st of all you have to know if your plate number is already registered as a special number , some of number look special but when you wanna sale it or change it to your car they will say its not register yet ....
what you have to do is cheak 1st is it registered as a special number or not thx :)

here in qatar rules you have to own the 2 cars when you change plate number from one to another one this is the only way but to change with ur friend not allow if you go traffice department they will tell you same you have to buy ur friend car or he buy ur car so the 2 cars will be by one name so you can change the plate from this one to the another
