MORETHAN 50% OF MY FREINDS RECOMMEND PATHFINDER BUT THOSE WHO RECOMMEND PAJERO THEY ARE STRICTLY SAY PAJERO IS BETTER. THAT IS WHY I CONFUSED... THANKS FOR UR TIME..
I drove both, pathfinder is smoother than the PAJERO, the pajero is a hard worker car, path is more delicate, but both of them have full accessories, pajero is slightly higher (hight) than the path.
path is Nissan, brakes are not perfect (friend got one) always needs to get amended by the time each service
pajero comes with life gaurantee on the engine and driving stick, plus free service milage..

for me, nissan ofcourse. they could take a beating.
but in comparisons like this, market wise, service wise, i think both are more or less the same.
as for mechanical issues, none that i recall and both i believe have similar warranty packs.
hence, you be the judge. walk over to both showrooms and test drive them each, and see which you feel more comfortable with.
Good luck!

Both of them suck at the resale..think twice
Defenitely Nissan Pathfinder :)
Personally, would go for the Pajero. Found it more comfortable to drive in all roads + desert last time I had one.
PathFinder will be better.
