I had a round of Car dealers in salwa road, i found one used car show room where two landcruisers parked together with following information
1. Model: 2006, KM done:200,000, Gx 6 cylinder, double ac, sunroof, price: 67,000 (Color:silver) full automatic with new istamara(registration)
2. Model: 2006, KM done:225,000, Gx 6 cylinder, double ac, sunroof, price: 110,000 (color: white)... full automatic..
new istamara(registration)
why so difference in prices... when specification are almost same....? is thier duplicate land cruiser available like duplicate iphone is available... plls clarify... thanks in advance....

Having spent time on the wild and untamed Salwa Rd. myself, I can tell you that those asking prices have nothing to do with the market value and more to do what the owner intends to net from the sale. I can safely say that most (not all) used cars at Salwa Rd. have body or paint repair issues at the minimum to rollover issues at the higher end.

To answer your question on the twin 2006 Land Cruisers, the cheaper one might have major accident history or the owner of the expensive one is out of his mind by thinking his car is worth a lot more than the prevailing market.

Better if you are very determine to buy one of those, bring your own Mechanic, let him check it thoroughly, computer check and road testing, then you decide upon receive of his comments and evaluation. Price varies on the condition of the vehicle, otherwise call the owner directly and discuss this issues.

Well for used cars there are no boundaries or price restrictions. Each owner of the vehicle will have something in his/her mind with regard to asking price. The Salwa Road dealer only taking his commission for selling the car and the prices in fact to be determined by the owners.
