Is it legal to ship a British car with the steering wheel on the right hand side of the car to Qatar? If it is, what do you have to have done to the car to make it legal to drive in Qatar. Also, what kind of license do you have to have and how old must you be to drive in Qatar?

It is difficult enough driving in Doha with the steering on the left hand side.

Yup it's not advisable to bring your car here considering that your car is a right hand drive. You might also waste money if a custom tax is imposed.
