Hyundai reliability and service
Hi,
we have a Toyota and its very good and reliable.. And before that had a honda accord in family. it stayed for a long time and was good. Looking for an new additional vehicle to Commute. My daily commute would be inside Doha.
Would like to know the reliability of new hyundai sedans ( 2011 - 2015 ) like sonata and azera. the new 2015 looks great and claims better handling this time.
1) How is hyundai service dealer in Qatar - From Anyone who owns a Hyundai.
2) How are the Hy "sedans" for long term use. 7-10 years time. the new ones ( ie after 2011 - 2015 ). Few wesites says, they are reliabile nowdays and can come near to Toyota and honda in reliability .
3) SPARES - I read like the spares are more expensive compared to toyotas, hondas, nissan. Is it true.
4) I Find less hyundai cars on the Road compared to KIA. Is KIA somewhat better performer here?
Thanks
thnk you all

If you are looking for design/options then hyundai are good for you. handling OK, comfort OK, engine is ok up to 2 years after that its u r luck.
Hyundai/KIA, spares are expensive compare to toyota nissan.
Looking for reliable cars then go for best selling luxury sedans
Toyota AValon 2014 is no doubt is best design by toyota till date, Comfort yes, relaible Yes, resale OK not like corolla or camry. Spares cheap compare to other cars in the class.
You can take review from taxi drivers driving sonata/ Camry/Altima, They are best to give feedback as they spend more than 12 hours driving.
Best of luck.....
In Qatar, people use to say go for Japanese Cars like (Toyota, Nissan, Honda & Mitsubishi), spare parts are not expensive. But its a total Myth. Spare Parts cost entirely depends on the price of the car. If the price of the car is more, surely spare parts going to be cost more. Korean cars are far better than Japanese cars nowadays (Cheverolet, Hyundai, Renault & KIA). Get the advice from the actual car owners who has that car for atleast 3 years. You will get a genuine response. Dont follow the advice on Internet reviews. You can check with the car owners in shopping malls, lulu parking. Somwhat you will get a true feedback.
People often tell lies on Net , so you may get advice from those who don't own a Hyundai & that will effect your decision & that's cause of a worry ................ Mon, 15.09.2014, 11.48 hrs ..........
