Hi Friends,
I have moved to Qatar recently with my husband. We have taken a house in one of the EZDAN compounds. We were provided a parking at the time of registration. However, its been 3 months and we hardly find our parking free.Someone or the other parks there car @ our parking every other day.on complaining,Security just sticks a hand written notice on the wind shield NO PARKING . Even the manager does not take any step to define parking space for all.Whom do we speak to for help?

I guess what I could have done is: wait around until the culprit sneaks in, catch him red handed, adn explain to him that this is private parking. If that does not work, call the police.

The POLICE.

Call them up and get that Car a Sticker .

Next Go to the Police Station , and get a Board stating " Privet Parking " Yes I know the spelling but they DO NOT .

After that anyone who parks , You just need to call the police and , auto sticker for them .

And yeah important matter , Tell your husband to talk to the neighbors - " Hello , please dot be offended but as I own a car and a Villa and this Parking has been allotted for me , So if You bother parking here , You see I have the " Privet Parking " board ..You get an auto Sticker from the Police. Let them know !!

And ( Most often the police does not mention this - each time someone parks a vehicle infront of your Villa .Before making a Call , Take a Picture of the car in 3 angles Front , Rear and Side )

Source - I had to face the Same prob till i gt the Board and informed my neighbors :)

Make a large sign: Parking Reserved for (name) Family. All others reported and removed at their own expense.

And then call the police each and every time someone else parks in that spot. GIve the police the license plate number of the offenders car and they will call and tell them to move the vehicle. After a while word will get around that this is no longer a free place to park. Good luck!
