Can somebody give me s definitive answer on this one - even the company give me conflicting amounts from 2200 to 3000.

As with all car rentals the rates will vary depending on the season, the rental period and the amount of kilometres

This is a question about a very specific scenario. Only the Oasis can help you with this. If they say that they shall charge QAR 3,000, you do not have any choice. You cannot tell them that the people in QL said it should be QAR 2,000. IF you like the price, take it. Otherwise, try some other showroom.
