I do suggest Honda CRV to Outlander if you go for the top range model. I personally have a 2010 Honda CRV top range model and I feel fine with it. It has power and also for sudden accelaration there is a new D3 mode(same like that of over drive is some cars). Have a test drive on it and you will feel the difference.
If you want power then the Outlander as it is available with a V6 engine - a better choice than the 4-cylinder Honda. Otherwise then you need to follow your "fashion" nose! From a service point of view I would choose the Outlander as the Mitsubishi service in Doha is very good.
