If I'm buying a 'certified pre-owned' car from Mannai does it really need an inspection by German Technical? Also, what does it cost and what's the process?

yes, i have the same experience; these guys are blind. i bought a car because of their report but the car had a broken chassis. now i'll act against both, the seller and the so called german center.

No need to send your car for diagnostic inspection if you are buying from a certified well-known dealer.
MY ADVISE TO ALL USED CAR BUYERS - PLEASE AVOID WASTING YOUR MONEY ON SALWA ROAD'S GERMAN CAR DIAGNOSTIC CENTRE. ITS SHEER CHEATING WITH INACCURATE END REPORTS. I HAVE A PROOF OF IT IN B/W.

You may show your car to any roadside mechanic but avoid all those so called hi-tech 'Diagnostic Centre's on the stretch of Salwa Road.
