Friday - second hand car shopping

Hello all,

It's Friday morning. I'm planning on looking at second hand cars today in Doha. Can you please recommend a good place with a range of cars?
Is there anything open before 4pm today?
I've heard that 'Industrial Area number 11' is worth checking out. Have any of you heard about this place?

Thanks in advance.

Be very careful buying cars from these two areas. You cannot imagine the write offs and seriously damaged cars which are repaired and sold off in these places. And there is no quality control or municipality inspections of any kind whilst under repair. Not to mention the ones which have been driven to death by the locals

If you know a lot about cars and know how to rebuild them then that's fine. But, if not , I would suggest you buy a decent second hand car from a european/western expat or just buy a new one. New cars these days are cheap enough with great warranty deals.

Besides Qatar living you can also check out www.qatarsale.com. It will give u idea about second hand rates. Some of the cars out this website are anyways with the dealers - so it will save u time from just strolling aimlessly. It is more difficult if you do not communicate in arabic
