Does anybody knows how to transfer car insurance under my name?

I just recently bought a 2nd hand car here in qatarliving. we process estimara transfer without problem.. the seller told me to just go to QATAR GENERAL INSURANCE to transfer insurance under my name

is there anything else i need to bring other than estimara to transfer insurance under my name? thanks a lot..

AND FOR THIRD PARTY INSURANCE U HAVE TO PAY 25 QR

IF IT'S THIRD PARTY INSURANCE THAN CAN BE TRANSFER TO YOUR NAME WITHOUT ANYTHING.JUST GO TO INSURANCE COMPANY AND SHOW THEM NEW ISTAMARA CARD.

You need to go with the seller. They will charge you QR. 50 approx and transfer it to ur name.

Yes, you might need a letter from the "previous owner" in which he/she states that there is no prob in transferring the Insurance into your name. Also include copy of both IDs.Regards!!
