Its a Boxster!!! & that too not even an S!!! Its a poor excuse of a Porsche!!!
According to me, anything below a Cayman S is just Trainee's projects at Porsche!!! Cars starting from the Cayman S r the only 1s worthy of the name!!!
Besides, its 10 yrs old!!!
Knowing how ppl with such cars drive in this place, i'm sure its been used less and abused more!!! I dont wanna generalize, but dats wat i've observed!!!
If it were me, i'd put in a lil more money that wats asked for this granny Boxster and get myself a nice and pretty new Nissan 350 Z. Its a great car and costs much lower. I'm a hardcore German car fanatic, but those babies cost a small fortune.
Go and check it out. Always take a ride before you think to buy specially for a 10 year old car. If it looks ok then try to get it max for 50K. Not a penny more. Then that will be a good deal.
Baldrick, I guess that your Google Search gave you US prices, which CANNOT be compared with Doha. Due to the limited number of such Cars here, the Prices are higher than the US. It is more Comparable with Smaller European Countries in Price. You might be able to find Boxters down to 50K if you are lucky- but the one's I have seen to that price were worn out
It's a good deal if the Car has been serviced. Cheaper Porsche's are usually worn out. To Nathan: this is a Porsche not a Toyota or Nissan.
It's true that Qatar doe not have the Roads to Drive fast, but it is still a very nice place to drive a Sports Car- and you don't need to drive fast to enjoy it.
(I got one with a top speed of around 300km/h and I enjoy driving 120km/h with it)
Top speed is not always a concern. Handling and acceleration are more important to me in a sports car.
Besides, a quick Google search tells me:
Estimated Retail Value: $8,350 - $12,650 which equates to 30k to 46k QAR so I guess it's not such a good deal after all, even if it's in mint condition, which, being Qatar, I suspect it's not!
Yes, It's 10 years old. I'm not up on second hand Porsche prices in Qatar. In UK you can buy price guides but I don't think such a thing exists in the gulf region.
Qatar's winter months are brimming with unmissable experiences, from the AFC Asian Cup 2023 to the World Aquatics Championships Doha 2024 and a variety of outdoor adventures and cultural delights.

Regards,
I don't know - a 58/59 Vette would be pretty desireable to me - anyone know where I can get one of those?!?!
I would have thought it was a QR 40000 car.
Its an old boxter at the end of the day and the old model has never been classed as a 'desirable' car anyway.
