I'd like to ask about Cherokee and Grand Cherokee regarding the spare parts prices and the availability of it, in addition i want to know is there any Garage can maintain this type of cars or should i go to the AGENCY every time - the car model i plan to buy it around 2001 and 2004
as you knew the American cars have bad sound in the gulf regarding the spare parts prices that's why i asked before i buy this car and by this way the parts are not expensive at all and it is very suitable for me - thank you for your feed back and have a nice day
I own Cherokee Classic 2001. Spare parts are available from both the company - Jeep Al Mana - or third party. For third party, I shop at Salamco Trading or Al Faris in Bin Mahmoud(?) near Jaidah Flyover, or Al Faris opposite Landmark Malls.
Mechanics/garage, I rely on American Tech Center, now in Barwa Village, Wakrah.

Just last week, for example, I replaced a fan belt. It costed me 130QR for AC Delco part. Not sure with company part.
Another example:
- Transmission filter (QR197 - company)
- Topside gasket engine (QR178 - company)
- Front brake pads (QR240 - thirdparty, US)
- telescopic arm, support of rear door (QR150 - third party, US)
Now I hope you can judge whether it's expensive or not.
Jeep is Jeep. Someone won't understand :)
thank you for your reply but what about the spare parts prices is it very expensive or not and what about the life time of the parts?
