do i require the presence of the owner of the car in transferring the 3rd party insurance? and after buying the car can i just take my car to which insurance comp. i prefer and cover it to them?or do i need to follow some procedures.or am i oblige to continue the insurance of the past owner?

No need of transferring the name of the owner for third party insurance....if it covers passengers liability better u do it...U can walk directly in to the insurance company and do it urself...they charge around 50 QR..
