Can a visitor buy a car in Qatar and put it in their name?

I would like to buy a car in Qatar but I am only a visitor, I renew my visa every 2months.I also have a temp drivers licenses from the state of Qatar which gets renewed every time I renew my visa.Can I register my car in my name and it will be a cash payment purchase.

Give the passport to rent car is Illegal

you only need your passport if you want to rent a car.

You need Qatar ID to purchase car in Qatar.

To my understanding only those having a valid RP (residence permit) are entitled and allowed to buy cars.

There is no way you'll get a car (not even paying cash) without RP.
