any body faced this situation regarding car renewal process????????????

hi,,,
yesterday i got technical inspection report and insurrance report. then i proceed to traffic police department (old air port branch) mattar qadeem.
when i submit the renewal fee 100QR , they replied that come after one week for number plates and new renewal card.as there card printer was not working.
is this happened with any other fellow yesterday at mattar qadeem traff. department.
please let me know if this is possible than i will wait for one week otherwise again i have to go there or not.
please reply me who faced the same situation?
