Hii all need your advise about a good 4x4 car to buy am looking for a comfort good interior, good in the sand dunes, reselling price with suitable spare parts and good service provided by the dealer.
American cars are not good for the dunes, some slip out of 4 wheel drive, Toyotos are great and rarely need work, as well as the Nissan Patrols, all you have to do is go to the dunes and see what most people drive. I would never recommend Fords, not strong in power or body.
1st option - toyota land cruiser is one of the best here when it comes to resell value, plus its good loking car with excellent perfomance, but when it comes to service i think it is worth in this country, you may need to wait for 2 weeks to get an appointment just to change the oil and filter.
2nd option - nissan patrol or nissam pathfinder. good perforamnce for good value. service is better than toyota.
3rd option - mitsubishi pajero. cheap, strong enough, good value.

U have Toyota RAV4, GMC Terrain or envoy, SUZUKI Grand Vitara, Mitsubishi Pajero. these are mid-range cars with reasonable prices..good luck
Medium Range (Engine & Size & cost) = Pajero 3.8ltr v6 no match
Large Bed (Engine & Size & Resale) = Land Crusier VXR 4.8ltr 8 Cylinder no match
Small and Streedy for all jobs
Suzuki G Vitara 2.7V6 or XL7 (Fair in size, little higher on price but reliable)
Focus more on Japanese.
Don't recommend any luxury stuff under the Eco circumstances...
Secondly try to buy the above 6months to year old you get good bargain..
